    Hi friends

My eight year old daughter has developed skin rashes with itching after a visit to a water park. But I found it after 15 days of the onset of the problems but from then on been applying coconut oil with turmeric. But the problem persists like there is only little improvement. If I go to the skin Dr will they prescribe steroids? Am afraid because I see the rashes in face as well. Is there any other home remedy for this pbm. How bad is application of steroid creams. Pls give your suggestions. Pls pls help.

Everyday use of Cetaphil cream after bath can help heal rashes. It did work for my child.A great natural remedy is applying Aloe Vera gel (preferably use the freshly extracted gel from the leaf and make sure to let the yellow sap drip off before scraping the gel). The second best option for those who have no access to Aloe Vera leaves is to look for a brand which has more than 99% of Aloe Vera with food based preservatives.Such as these which are meant for external use only.

You can also try using any herbal bath powder (ubtan) such as green gram flour instead of soap for best results.

 try it....u'l see the difference. My son had lot of such rashes when he was a baby. Neck, back, thighs. I was in Abu Dhabi then. I had taken him to American Hospital and the doc there prescribed this. I picked up other Stelatopia product like the baby wash and with the emolient the rashes healed really well.

    Have you tried “Lacto calamine”?

It is usually cooling and good for skin.
Just apply plain virgin coconut oil on her skin for some days.

Doctor won’t prescribe steroids so soon.Even if they do,it’s your decision to go for it or not.Nothing wrong in getting a consultation

Cetaphil face wash is the best for skin and prescribed by dermatologists also to me.

Thanks Anika. Am yet to try lactocalamine. Will try. I have been applying cetaphil but to no avail. I have fixed an appointment with a Dr too. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
