    Hi all
I'm working and need some guidance in meal plans that you all follow for a week..
    And tips for fast cooking..

    * I'm a beginner at cooking any tips will help..
Eg.. my rice cooks only half way when I try to make pulav even if water is 1:3 ratio..
    2. Heard if we add potatoes it will reduce the saltiness..
    3. Salt ratios..really bad at this!

Anything that you learnt on the way..

check youtube video in this post for one week mealplan from a vegetarian kitchen.

However, if you cannot make fully cooked rice, you'd be a tough self-learner.
Let your husband (you said wife in the title) deal with the cooking. It is alright in this modern age.

Also this youtube video linked here, and the one here

Start with rice, add more time in pressure cooker
Cook things in pressure cooker- 2 whistle rice, 4 mutton, etc
Number of whistles is more in India then outside
Put oil in cooker add jeers or mustard, then add ur cut veggies, subzi masala mdh ka, salt, water ine cup and 2 whistle, stove off , let it cool down before u open, mash aaloos in cooked subzi

    Rice- 2 whistle

Eat rice and subzi till u graduate to next level

Hi i was like you when I started cooking. For kootu didnt know that we need to roast the urad dal.. grinded it raw and poured into the veggies.. imagine that bad i was. But now my hubby nd my son jus love my cooking. Everything comes with practice. To start with try lot of one pot meals.. like veg biryani; pulao; jeera rice; coconut rice; capsicum rice etc. There r lot of videos for all these recipes.. nd for salt in tamil v say “Kann alavu” which means no measurements. You just see and put nd it tastes perfect.. believe me it comes with practice..just keep trying you will become a wonderful cook oneday.
