Jaldra and kooja are words in Tamil like “Cham cha” in Hindi.. Trying to please the others by overpraising and even if they say 1+1= 7..people will be like “yeah that’s correct” Prevalent in office culture to get promotion..some doing jalra and kooja to the manager
I am a sucker for weight loss diets. Came from my Oprah Winfrey book recommendation following days. Especially like those that come with promises of good tasting stuff, with weight loss as a bonus. Recently I found an indian business, that asks you to subscribe to several months of boxed foods, which look like... I went through a convoluted navigation on the web to find these idomatic usages. Kooja or Gooja is an old fashioned bronze water jug. People who had sidekicks (chamcha personnel) let them carry one of these water jugs. Kooja-ism is the concept of becoming a supporter for an opinion leader.
A wet spoon in ginger jar or any other jar containing ingredients in powder form by mistake or by omission or commission will attract altercations besides other sequels and consequences. I have experienced it before and after I mean marriage. The rule in force in our home is spoon is washed and dried over sim flame and then cool under revolving fan and then dip it or dunk it in bottles and or in cup of soup or sojji or carrot halwa.... But what I do stealthily of course is to tap the bottle gently and take the amount needed. But for Horlicks it can’t be done safely and securely?“ But strangers to and in kitchen, trying that dastardly act, the soft command is “ spoon is wet. Don’t please”. Thanks and Regards. God is in every tear-drop as exemplified in dispersed colours.
Yeah, meant the same. Not just a workplace thingy anymore, kinda exists everywhere these days. Real and even "virtual spaces" too, you name it. One is either blind to not notice or one just pretends to not notice. Sigh.
When in trouble think of me,When not don’t care if I exist. Can’t ask why my dearie , instead wait with open arms And strong shoulders. With ever smiling face. Nah - it’s not gods voice just mine
In both the real and the virtual world, the jalra/cymbals have to be in-tune, and come in at the right cues. It is the abaswaram that gets noticed, and is quite cringeworthy.
Thanks to your humorous comments and research on supplicants who were called under various pseudonyms. 2. But in present time, when everything I mean everything available on order online, kooja or gooja has become somewhat obsolete. Koojars of yore used to double cross and attract attention of mercenaries. 3. Future food for future days available on line pan India. So also future medicine for future less days too available on line. Instead of beck and call it is now always on line helping people relax more, gain weight on couch than on line.!!? Regards.
