Civilities boggle me and am often rebuked by my concerned mom to cultivate ‘small talk’ and civic niceties to mingle in human society and not fraternalize too much with the emerging bugs in night to whom I inquire — ‘do you know the only US state that still lists Pluto as a planet for honorary reason.’ The bugs, stricken and confused, for the unbidden insight just buzz erratic in their burdened gratitude.

I am to recall the emphatic and cliched “it’s me, not you” subterfuge that am hesitant to infringe upon others who have been graciously spared from my rant. Mind you, by taking that first stagger of faith towards me, you are in for unforeseen trouble. I tend to crawl up as an earworm non grata once acquainted.

For a socially-awkward and etiquette-challenged person like me, ‘being cordial’ in conversations is mindful and contrived but ‘being casual’ is sustainable and fulfilling, perhaps, that was what you referred to as ‘easy going’. With that, now we are indoctrinated friends (scraping my penknife on the thumb to draw blood to honour the pact).

I dont know much about all the ILites but few mesmerised me with their talent.

@Viswamitra Sir: I have gone through many of his comments and feedbacks and it is very useful and informative. He motivates all his fellow ILites by giving likes. On the whole he is like a pillar supporting all of us to improve our talents and skills more and more . Thank you sir.

@iyerviji : She is the lady of my inspiration who with her wonderful crafts and soft nature, mesmerised me. I fondly call her Vijima.

@krishnamma : Krishnamma Madam is my guru as i follow all her recipes for all occassions

@ kamaljit Sir: His short shories are really great . I enjoyed them. Unfortunately we have lost a gem of the person missing all his stories and feedback. RIP

Last week, while wandering in the library, I hit upon a fronted book on the shelf with the title 'How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-founded a Million Dollar Company'. I could not have missed such a jumpy title. So, picked it up. Found a footnote ...

** An enthu cutlet is an earnest eager beaver who is able to muster up inordinate amounts of energy, inspiration and enthusiasm towards a variety of things.

I loved the chirpy "enthu cutlet" on a person though I wasn't familiar with the Karnataka slang and its sense. Is it derogatory or complimentary? Surely, 'enthu cutlet' cannot be disparaging to anyone in such energetic standing. Still okay if the nickname is unflattering as long as it is not pejorative. Why so circumspect because I wanted to accord it to an ILite since I have sighted that word. Even if the phrase is pejorative in its street meme, there is only one person who could emancipate any notorious disgrace on it to its glorified and fond instinct -- she is a cool 'enthu cutlet' around in IL.

There are many enthu cutlets in IL, those we write, those who paint, those who cook, and then, those who encompass every form of accomplished activity into this cutlet rather turning that vibrancy into a samosa or a vada pav in their congenial enthusiasm.

I interacted with this weather-eye cutlet in a musical thread.

She charmed me right away with a smile.

    We exchanged songs.

But in the undercurrents of those rainy splotches, we exchanged language and affection.

I have scratched fragmentary on her hearty presence in the forum.

But this 'Kelavam ballavarinda kaltu' cheer deserves a more dedicated mention.

@GeetaKashyap exhibits a liberal stride in her writing. Warm and inviting, she could still manage to slide in critical feedback with poise. I have never seen her gruff with anyone. She is good-spirited through which even if 'enthu cutlet' is pejorative in Karnataka slang, the recovered word itself would sanitize out of the negative connotation now that it has been conferred on her.

:hello:You have expressed heartfelt warmth to a fellow writer very aesthetically. You have echoed or borrowed my quora friend Raju of Phillips sentiments in a similar manner. She deserves all that you said and I as a fellow ILITE am glad.
    Thanks and Regards.
    God Bless.
