    Hey point understood!
But don’t you think everyone here of some making has honed some talents in a similar manner ! And don’t waste all the credit for the articulate you on some MEN !! Ok I get it they might be respect worthy .
I love the’ not pomposity but precision ‘
... also concede that not everyone may get it but let’s not start at that point of bundling everyone in the same rope ever!!
I am also jolted favourably to keep working in the eloquent direction

Hehe! Nerdy creatures colluding in a science fiction forum. I have not spotted a woman in that forlorn sub-forum, hence I factually and not preferentially stated men.

Who is bundled here in what to start?

My post was insinuating that writing for a science fiction forum predominated by men helped me to improve my language. Who is bundled in what rope here o_O

I learnt a word, say, an ideology of conflicted dread: zugzwang.
(Damned if you do, equally damned if you do the other thing instead.)

Firstly thanks for the clip , not only love this movie, this scene, I got to see Jayant Kripalani :)

@Novalis , if ther is one flaw in me that I am willing to reveal , it is my inability to effuse praise even when it is due.

That comment was a genuine compliment , you have not only put across what goes on in my mind, also managed to write about a mundane thought process in a systematic and eloquent post. If I had tried to write that down I doubt anyone would have red beyond line 2. People like me are sometimes lazy , sometimes boring but mostly both. Anyway it is not as if I could comeup with something 10 percent as good even if I tried really really hard. So I said nevermind.

Well this is not the first of the posts I have read , everytime I read and want to reply , I dont know where to start and how to respond to something so detailed and well thought out and so well written - it lands up being too much of hard work to do some justice. SO I use the like button , a tool invented for lazy butts like me .

Winding honesty is boring - but you know that dont you? You asked for it, my dahling

    And @Novalis that's another, :rolleyes:yet again, winner!!!
I just love the way you can process all the thoughts which momentarily hit one and nothing more than fleetingly go away, but you somehow have just developed the ability to absorb, process and 'articulate' it ... and not only articulate but HOW!:cheer::clap2::clap2:

And @GeetaKashyap , She definitely deserves all the accolades ( one word for the lack of a strong 'lexicon') coming her way :)

JK had the story-telling voice to awaken even a mischievous throaty blob conquered by Vicks. I used to love the ad! Well, everyone did back then.

Television makers like Jayant Kripalani are still fondly considered the pioneers of television broadcast in India. Interesting that you pointed out JK because few years back I read an article on fledgling television in India, how the creators traveled abroad to be influenced and learn the ropes in televised drama series allegedly different from theater which was quite established by then.

These flighty creative teams didn't merely sleepwalk and import the content flatly (as in dubbed) from aboard even when they could as the entertainment would be incongruous to Indian sensibilities. They conjured up original drama series for Indian audience like Humlog and Buniyaad inspired in that exploration.

I found it heartfelt, these visionaries tinkering with content and casting keenly aware to fashion out originality with relevance for Indian eyes and ears.

That drain is all too familiar to me having contemplated much on similar hooks and lines. I remember a particular phone call with a friend, tearful and mumbling ...'I am a fish trying to fly or a bird trying to swim. I don't know what I am and trying to do what' ..as language elusive to me is so natural in others. People write such badda wadda emails leaving me writhing in agony ...where to start and how to respond.

Usually people mistake anecdotal solidarity to instructions. No, this is not any instruction to anyone. But a recalled scoop of having mustered curiosity in random clips examining transformed speech. Even last week I mentioned it to a friend. Sushmita Sen's clips!

    Crowning of Miss India

    Crowning of Miss Universe.

Do you notice the difference in her speech? She appeared more groomed and assertive in her Miss Universe clip. During the preparatory and intervening period representing India at international level from Miss India win to Miss Universe contest, she must have (diligently) trained herself in diction and oration. Common in cascading beauty contests but in her case, in a 18 year old, it was too pronounced. She, cha gayi! How does Sen's grooming and training involve me, (does not affect but intrigues me,) and many such random sightings reveal to me the scope of advancement ...to push that damn envelope.

The 'where to start and how to respond' is familiar in my self-reproached inquiry for having neglected as critical as communication for later-day learning. Moreover, annoyances that are not obvious — because they are glazed finer — deficit than deformed, insist less of mental visibility in others. (rhetoric: each one is special; but: I don't want to be special as I want to be competent.)

I know you! I have been much of that contemplation and trepidation myself.
