It's on the night of the muhurtham. As to whether the couple actually has to do anything related to the event no one is peeking behind closed doors, are they?

Thanks ladies . So I understand its on the same day. She said they have already discussed and decided not to have it on the wedding day. They want to plan honeymoon and shantimuhurtham together hence asked about the muhurtham dates. It is quite embarrassing for them and I guess for anyone to even ask an astrologer in person.

So will going by the panchang be a good option? Also is there any good direction to conceive fast?

Panchangam is fine. As for conceiving DTD early and often. :tonguewink:

I found March 13th as an auspicious day in panchang but in some websites it says saptami tithi is not good . Which one to trust? March 13th is saptami tithi.

That is a good post. However, when I read that I couldn't help but think about what responsibilities in preparations that a man has... to keep count, and motility(sign of health) of his seed high enough to make all of the woman's preparations count.

The parents of your friend will take care of all this. Don't bother.
As for you. Do it when you and your spouse are comfortable.
    Dont worry about panchangam

Yes... Try to have sex (intercourse) as much as possible starting from the 10th day of your cycle.
Also (this is from my doctor, not my theory )having sex on alternate days from 10th day helps as the sperm quality of the man improves by giving one day gap.
