    Three days since the month of March dawned on us. February has this unnerving way of being 2 days short. Though I noticed that 28 February was here and March 1 was also here the next day, it did not dawn on me that it was time to open a new thread. My sincerest apologies for that. Do I need to say the heat is getting to me? Since I wear no hat, I shall call that 'mad as a march hare' (with all due apologies to march and to hares) :confounded:

    The month of February, especially the latter half has been very eventful for India - though not quite in a way one would wish. While I feel like singing
    "When Abhi came marching home again hurrah, hurrah
    We gave him a hearty welcome then hurrah, hurrah"

    I do wish no more Johnnys or Abhis have to ever go anywhere to come back marching home again.

    So I start this month with an prayer for peace:

    Loka samastha sukhino bhavantu
    Om Shanti Shanti Shanti

    May peace be upon one and all.
