It could be anything. The fifteen minutes before others wake up. The one hour at 10:30 pm when the rest of the household is asleep. Just after you declare the kitchen closed and go plonk yourself down on the sofa. The minute when you have just completed meditation for the day. Fetching the newspaper. Dog jumps in joy as you walk in the door. The moment when the comforter starts to warm you rather than you are warming the comforter. : ) You reach work, get coffee, and settle down, ready to attack the day. Stretching after a work-out. What is your favorite time of the day? And why? If you are hard put to find a favorite time of the day, share your favorite time of the week. Though we hope this changes soon. .
The moment I walk in home after work, my toddler comes running to me demanding to be nursed. This is my most favorite part of the day. Thats the moment when I talk to him about how much I love him, how much I missed him, etc and he reciprocates by kissing me, caressing me and babbling stuff. Nice thread
Mine is when I check my email for the day's inspirational quote that I have signed up for. Like shopkeepers who don't start the day until they've worshiped the God pictures, I try not to do anything in the morning until I read the quote. The really good ones become a status message in IL. : )
My favourite time of the day are many Early morning when I see the memories in FB When I finish cooking and my husband tastes and tells it very nice When I finish my kitchen work and Pooja and serve my husband breakfast and give his medicines and come and sit saying appada When I make jewellery and people appreciate When my children and grandchildren are around When my post is nominated and we
You come up with the best threads! This one made me think and make a few changes in my life. Anyway, to answer your question ... That moment when the oven dings and my home is filled with the fragrance of freshly baked bread. .
I love when I have finished my office work, gym, cooking dinner, cleaning kitchen and come to the couch to check my messages, FB, insta around 9 pm. Thats pure bliss.
That’s a great thread there My favourite time of the day is in the morning, between - hubby has left to work and the time I get for myself before getting ready for my office. Hubby leaves around 7.30, I start around 9.30. It’s blissful !! The house is silent and I do whatever I want - reading atleast 2 pages of that unfinished novel / chatting with a friend / talking to my buddy / yoga / tidying up the house / IL - love this Me time
Thank you @jillcastle and @iyerviji for the responses. You saved it from no responses. : ) @Amica thank you for bumping the thread! Freshly bakes bread! Ek din hum bhi honge kamyaab : ) I will also bake bread one day. @senorita2019 and @Sinant, thank you for sharing your favorite time of the day. Everyone's responses are based at home. I had a colleague long ago who used to say her favorite time is Monday morning at work, when she has put away her bag, fetched coffee and is sitting down about to start the day. She used to say it is good to get away from home and the problems of teenagers, and feel sane at work.
When I was working, my favorite time was the brief alone-time for about half an hour after lunch. I had to talk so much to people in those days. Now I don't talk as much, I still think the afternoon at some lunch spot is a nice time. I go to late lunches, and it is a relaxing time for everyone -- the waitress as well as the customer.
I had to think really hard to answer this now, because i distinctly remember earlier i used to love that half an hour that i got before everyone else used to wake up in the morning...but now after so many years of robotic slavement ..everything has become precisely robotic! But i really did wake up today at 5, got time to go for a nice walk before dawn and loved every minute of it!! So the answer remains the same as many years back : early morning waking up before the household
