I love Parineeti's Ishq Bulava song, which incidentally has rain to boot.

Though the hopeful and unfazed swiftly fall in love, even the first-time fearful and bitten sworn-off too gradually fall in love! Ishq bulava to everyone! There is no escape from that cloaked insanity. It just grips you unawares. Awaken and scratch your head - damn! I want him/her. Does she love me? Does he love me? Does she know that I am already in love with her? Does he realize that whatever it is between us, I love him already more? Does she know that I love her more than she could oblige? Does he ? Does she? The depiction of stolen glances and bashful smiles and upmanship in love though silly to others is sweet to the fresh lovers.

I like this sequence in the song where the lovers share a bisleri bottle between them along with a flannel shirt.
(Though the fate of the bisleri bottle remains unknown, the flannel shirt is mutually co-opted)

These days, I am less emphatic about love with anyone who has never experienced good companionship. It is like trying to explain to a bedouin rain: water, falls from the sky but then it is different from the bathroom shower head. It is just water but when falls from the sky it feels different. I know it is just wet and water but from sky it feels more than water from a hose.

Falling and being and growing in love is a disbelief to many who have never sought affirming relationships. Against all odds and risks, it is worth to plunge and share that flannel.

How well you have captured the emotions!

Hmm..you are tempting me to go back in time and try it out!:fearful: Year, falling in love and being reckless calls for guts; not everyone's cup of tea. Being in love is definitely a great feeling!

Enjoy this favourite song of mine on love.
(At another level, I feel as if a devotee is singing this song to his Lord! There is sufi magic in this song.)

    I dont wish for riches
I wish only for your love
    Im yours, dear
    youre mine...
    If you touch me
i can die in peace in love
    Dear, come into my arms
I long to melt within you
I wish ... I could lose myself in your entirety
my days are lively with joy- my nights sing
they make me lost every passing moment
Ive lost myself as I win you
Now I live just for you
I wish I could look at you forever
I wish I could worship your image
All my relations begin with you
I wish I could fall upon your body like a garland
I wish I could sail in love
    Across the universe
I wish I could sail through this life in your love
This is soft warm addiction and it keeps on rising
I wish you could wake me like never
My heart has now known madness
    My world…

    What?! Why?!

A libertine gadding about timely every full-mooned midsummer for emerging love cuts out an amusing visual.

Often I have wondered how the romantic pair enacts these songs in such crazy rain. For ordinary mortals like us, when it rains, it is tough to even keep the face straight let alone blink, smile coyly and also sing/lip-sync! Recently, I discovered a rain song filming trick. Interested in knowing?

    Carefully observe the following song:

With all the right expressions and without contorting their faces the lead pair are entertaining us! The rain is also quite stiff! How did they do it?

Simple; the rain is actually in the background or in the foreground but rarely on the lead pair's face during enactment! Their drenched bodies, water droplets on their faces along with the background rain and the song creates an illusion as if they are singing in the rain! Whenever they are actually under the rain, the shot is mostly distant or the one with limited expressions! Isn't it interesting?

Have you figured out or know any other technique? Please share.:grinning:
