    @rgsrinivasan
    My dear RGS
    Many thanks for your words of encouragemen.
    We are fortunate to have our computer now and we can carry out any number of corrections with least bother. When I wrote my bits and pieces for my college magazine, I would tear off my paper and throw the bits in the waste paper basket several times like a a boy in love for the first time. By the time, I could complete a page of stuff, my mum would clean the basket at least twice. My mum was good in making paper mache dolls and so nothing got really wasted.
    The dawn of computer age may not have improved the quality of my writing but has certainly reduced wastage of paper. These technogical marvels have certainly enhanced my self confidence!

    Thanks and kudos for analysing the writer's predicament and echoing the minds of amateur writers like me. Thanks for the valuable tips and thumb rules!
    I enjoyed the jotting.
    Regards.

    Dear Mr Cheeniya,
    People were crazy to read writer Sujatha's stories and one person commented that if Sujatha posted even his laundry bill people would be crazy to read it. Likewise in IL people love to read your posts and I feel there is no one person to beat you in witty or informative posts.
    I don't have to follow Googulanda's tips which you have mentioned to get rid of writer's block because I don' belong to the writer category being an occasional amateur blabber.
    PS

    @Thyagarajan
    You were perhaps an ameteur writer when you started here but now you are a veteran. Thanks for your kind words.

    Dear PS
    Where do you vanish so often these days? I get worried.
    Sujatha was a legend. I am just a novice compared to him. You can't even compare me with him for that matter!
    None of us belong to that category here except a few gifted ones like Viswamitra

    :hello::roflmao:Sir,
    Thank you but with all deference, I beg to differ from you.
    2. Every time I read and some time re-read of the blogs including yours appearing here, only makes me realise how impoverished my knowledge (of writing) is and is akin to drop in an ocean. Reading blogs of veterans like you makes me often sit tight and remain tounge-tied with eyes wide open.
    Regards

    Dear PS
    As we all grow older, gray hairs increase and gray cells decrease. It's a natural process which we must accept with a sigh. After my stroke a couple of years ago, I not only struggle for words but struggle to locate the letters in the keyboard!
    That's a very nice looking clock but I see a strip of tablets also (yet another sign of old age!) Hope it is a routine vitamin supplement.
