You will be in for more surprises when you read the book. What would be your reaction if this author says everyone of us are actually holograms and it is the mind that converts all of us into a solid object? By merely touching the aura of a person, it is possible to cure a patient. Many physicians in the US have accepted to this phenomena but refuses to go public as they would lose their license.

Reiki does wonders Satchi if you believe in it. I am a good receptor but I still am not practicing healing. I have seen colors in meditation mostly purple. But I remember once Viswa sir mentioning that when we are traveling on highway these Siddhis are like distractions on roadside and not to pay much attention to it. Since then I have been trying less to focus on these colors or any other experiences. Just take it as I go.

    Dear Lakshmi,

Purple is the color of healing and you have confirmed you are a great recipient of Reiki energy. If you are a good recipient, you will be an excellent giver of Reiki energy as well. You are a great candidate for becoming a Master in Reiki or Reiki II training already.

What could be a greater service than reducing the pain of the fellow-beings? You have now motivated me enough to go through that training in order to be closer to the transitioning patients.

Yes, Lakshmi. I did 2 levels of Reiki and practised for quite a while. Tried for my dad also when he was suffering from cancer. Such a sweetheart, he'd always say he felt better. After he passed away, I stopped completely. It's been years now and I have forgotten all the symbols now.

:hello:what a brilliant analysis of colours you see with closed eyes!
    2. I thought the title refer's to Lord Shiva's third eye.
    3. William wordsworth wrote the anthology Paradise Regained when he lost the vision and wrote paradise lost when he had normal vision.
    4. Fortunately or unfortunately, the moment I close the eyes,
I thank the Lord for the nice day he blessed me with and the moment my head strikes the pillow sleep embraces me.
    5. I heard or read in dreams, one may not see the colour. It is all only in black and white.
6, I don't do meditation nor Rikhi or any such practise or exercise. I find My Day to day activities including sudoku are enough to maintain shape and size of my body, soul and mind.
    7. Hypnotism vs meditation:
In one, person keeps eyes wide open yet goes into sleep and answers question colourfully.
In the other person closes eyes yet remain awake to think and look inwards probably for colours.!
Life is riot of colours primary and secondarily.
God is great who BLESS US colourfully.
    Regards.

Thanks a lot for the intersting feedback. You are indeed blessed to be instantly off to lala land, as soon as your head touches the pillow. I wish Nidradevi would be just as obliging with me!!! Dreaming in B&W or colour! Intersting question. I have often wondered and wanted to observe, but it never happens. I suspect it is in full technicolour. This is just my guess, because I am too fast asleep when I dream, to note whether it was in colour or otherwise, but honestly, I have never noticed anything odd about my surroundings in my dreams - like they being B&W. I must work harder on this project indeed!

    Amazing, isn't it?

@satchitananda you give a tough question to people like me . when i close my eyes i see Human faces moving across in black and white like cartoons drawn by R.K. Laxman. i have a habit of drawing some designs if i see a piece of paper.Human body in shape of triangle, square or circle. Is this a cause for those faces flashing across?
