    @shravs3

    This ticket is marketed by KLM, Delta and Jet Airways but the cheapest fare is on Jet Airways.

    Texas to Amsterdam (KLM)
    Amsterdam to Bangalore (Jet Airways)

    It is a GOVT run enterprise , so it does not worry about losses . They have been trying to privatize it so long but still has to own it up. So they don’t have issues like private air lines.

    I am not so averse if Air India .. and I feel they have quite an experienced pilots both in air India and Indian airlines even though their fleet is old and in some sectors this is very good option.

    Everybody flies into blr. So many options. All European and middle eastern fly the route. LH and Emirates have special rates now and again. Not sure of your origin but mostly a lot of choices from DFW and IAH.

    Amsterdam to Bangalore nonstop is a Jet Airways run. I think this flight leaves in the afternoon, and fed by US flights arriving in Schipol-AMS in the forenoon. This would be a one-stop-hop to Bangalore, especially useful for parents with children. However, not likely to be cheaper than the gulf based carriers.

    So are London- BLR(British), Frankfurt- BLR(LH), Paris - BLR(Air France), Dubai - BLR(Emirates), Abu dhabhi- BLR(Ethihad), Doha-BLR(Qatar) etc. I've flown all of these connections and have had a good experience. My preferred airline to BLR is via EU because I like to get off the plane after 9 hrs! LH has sales now and then. I've got good deals if I booked in Jan/Feb time frame for April/May.
