I have the habit of asking around whenever what is anyone's "goto comfort" book? The one that we had always return to, even after years and feel home instantly? Have any? Curious to know.
Yeh bimaari aap ko bhi lag gayi? (Have you caught that bug too?) Can't think of one comfort book. Perhaps a comfort genre is more apt -- obviously science fiction for me. Every so often I will pick up a book of favorite science fiction short stories to reread. Reading is my comfort, so whichever book I'm reading at the moment is my comfort book.
Here is something for you (if you haven't seen it already or solved)... Find all the iconic sci-fi elements in there!
I found a bunch of movie references, some of them sci-fi. The Delorean, Life Finds a Way, Little Miss Sunshine I think...
Dear all, I don’t know it is the appropriate forum to ask this question, if not pls kindly remove it. I got a tanjavoor painting of Lakshmi Mata from Sri Lanka. Is it ok to hand that phot facing the entrance of the house. Please kindly advise me if you know anything about it. Much appreciated Vani
Dear Vani, I am not sure if this will help you and if this is what you are looking for . We follow this in our family and I have learnt it from my in laws. Whenever we are putting a photo of God or lighting a lamp in the house it is preferred to put it in east or north direction. Even west is fine. But not facing south . Hanging the photo facing door is fine as long as its not facing south direction . I'm not sure of the logic behind this. I follow because as elders they follow. Others can give their opinion. BTW welcome back to the forum I hope you had a great vacation time and a very happy new year to you.. Regards, Anusha
Dear Anusha Very many thanks for the immediate feedback. That is exactly the kind of information I want. Thank you. Wish you and the family a very brilliant happy new year. Indeed, I had a good time with my parents after a long time. I will cherish those moments until I see 5hem next. Hope you are keeping well and taking care of yourself. Lots of love, Vani
@Anusha2917 heartiest congrats on reaching 100th post on the positivity thread. @Gauri03 thank you for tagging me. Like @Anusha2917 i also thought of continuing to do so after the 100th post. It has become my daily routine to update with previous day’s best part. It certainly allowed me to focus my thoughts on the positive things happened on that day and I am becoming more cheerful. Thank you again for this thread
