    Dear Viji,

    I remember those times when we used to shop enthusiastically for greeting cards, along with clothes and crackers. Sending those greeting cards to our close friends and relatives and getting back those thank you letters was more heart warming than the messages posted on WhatsApp. With more of technology, the more we are becoming impersonal.
    I haven’t seen you in person, but still I can feel the warmth through your writings. IL is a wonderful place to have such people! Happy Deepavali!

    Phone calls or greetings send through post used to feel nice. The group email, FB, and Whatsapp copy/paste without even adding recipients' names feels very assembly-line and impersonal.
