Hey, hello zencroc. Remember that weekend morning when you promised to show up in our space?

Yeah yeah, only it's two weeks now and you are still having dosas, sipping coffees, what not. :hollering: Get over here already! :grinning-smiley-048:

Life was chugging along peacefully, somebody put evil eye on me. Have to keep my nose to the grindstone and deliver. Just been running from one meeting to the next all day. I will return to IL when I have retired.

The last three months of the year do tend to get busier than usual for me. At work it's the pre-holiday season anxiety to get stuff out of the door, not to mention the appraisals and projections for next year. At home the important festivals, birthdays, anniversaries and parties are clustered around the end of the year. On the personal front there is a sense of urgency at the passing of yet another year. Pending projects, half-done hobbies, unread books, and neglected resolutions start to prick the conscience. Too bad the feeling passes sooner than it should. If I could bottle this feeling and experience it periodically over the year I would become a model of productivity.

"I was crawling along the bottom of the lake on my arms and knees, looking for stones to skim, when my hand and knee felt something long and hard buried in the clay and sand. I pulled it out and saw that it was different from the sticks or rocks I usually find."

At her age, right there^ is where I would have started screaming like I was being eaten by the Loch Ness monster. The young lady is curious and fearless. She has a bright future.

Yeah same here, a tiny bit stressed too sometimes and, wish it's 2019 already so some things are bygones. Positives, I have managed to tick off some goals for 2018. :sunglasses: Btw does growing a "money plant" count as gardening? I don't know, wasn't sure if it's my thing so started with a money plant. It's actually a gift from a friend to boost my morals. Kinda grown now, looks beautiful, spreading on the walls. Reminds me of home. :relaxed: My vacation is coming up! And a home trip after that, staying longer this time. Family functions and festivals to enjoy, I'm all very excited. Saree and show off times! Bling bling! :tonguewink: Lol.
Lovely plate, rich and fullness. Happy Dussehra to you! :beer-toast1:

Dr. Chopra is behind the times - she must be a physicist or in IT or something. Men and women may no longer need each other for conception. Chopra doesn't even need a spermatozoon.
    Bi-maternal Mice
    Bi-paternal Mice
Women would still have a slight edge - as of 2018, men are completely disposable - since (a) a womb and placenta are still required; and (b) While the bi-paternal mice died post-natally, the bi-maternal mice grew to adulthood and were fertile.
But then, it's only a matter of time.

    Indeed! Sounds very much a no-nonsense girl!
Speaking of computability/theory of computation - a remarkable breakthrough reported in quantum computing, by an intrepid young scion of desi doctors, perhaps opening up an entirely new field of investigation. What is it with these uppitty, math-y women? Time was they knew their place? Now going to Mars and whatnot. Jeez. o_O

    Soka,

Coordinating the trips with car pool, invited time vs nearest residence, allocating time for your own residence Vs visit to other residences, etc. are difficult than hopping on multi-layer platforms in Paris Metro with French directions.
