His looks itself says how he is! I was just wondering why she revealed her side of the story after sharing other singer’s experience which makes people (not me!)to be doubtful of the allegations.Yeah I agree with your point.
Moreover back then there were no such media to express these, if at all a lady tries to voice out then her career would be doomed.

 

But did you notice, when Trisha said, "I only want to talk to you, nothing else", there was a disappointment in VS face?? But enakkudhaan disappointment-aa therinjadhaa? . Then later onnum nadakkaadhunnu therinjadhum, history-la naama nippomnu thaali ellaaam worship.. after Trisha woke up , she asked him to sit on the bed, appo kooda light aa oru expectation therinjadhu VS moonjila...

While coming back from movie, I was telling H, "paavam director avangalukku oru kissing scene-aavadhu vechirundhirukkalaaam"... Then immediately, mind voice,"manasula nenachadhelllaaaam ipdi olari tholachittOmey ... Ayyayoooo ..".. then avasara avasaramaa, naama girls school la padichadha register Panna vendiyadhaayiiduchu...

No no the girls assumed that the girl sitting in Vs table is his wife, and didn't let him to explain, went straight to her.. And Trisha didnt correct them .

 

I only read this after I posted about the same scene!!! VS expectation unga kannukkum therinjadhaaa??? I was scared that yaaraaavadhu vandhu will question left & right... Hahaha Nalla Vela, NAA thaniyaaa maattala...

 

That's good one, I thought something too... When Trisha touched his hand, right moment-la calling bell ringing, coffee coming. But, coffee-ku badhila if Trisha's H And daughter were standing there, how could she have explained having a man in her bedroom in the middle of the night??

 

RG, beautiful analysis. #2 enakku thonavey illa.. Good point!! #5 is top notch! I too didnt like her saying it, it felt like though she is asking him to get married, she still trying to emotionally keep him in the radar. Another flaw I thought was, how did she remember the day Ram came to college? Ram remembering is ok, because thats the life changing day for him, but for Janu it was just another day where she told off a roadside Romeo. So how come she correctly remembered the day when VS pointed out? Do we remember all our college happenings now? Chance-y illa.

About #4, As I said to Shivanya, I didnt have a problem with Trisha's forward talking to VS and she instantly bonding with him. To me, that scene justified the whole movie. I had this disbelief when I heard the story line, who will give this much importance to school love? I mean I have seen people who had loved someone in school, but have fell in love with someone else in Higher Secondary or college or even in workplace. Of course there were school-love affairs ended up in marriage, but those were ones who live close to each other, meets often, or fate always brought them back together in some or other chances/situations like that. But not seeing someone for 22 years and still carrying the love so fresh is something I couldn't believe. In my opinion its humanly impossible to remember the feelings from when they were hardly 15 years old, they were still kids. But the reunion scene, and the fact that she can pick up from where she left, tells us the deep connection she had with Ram. While the director showed Janu's singing as the reason for Ram to fall in love with Janu, there wasn't any justification to show why Janu fell in love with Ram of all the boys in school. Not that he was outspoken, bold boy a girl would instantly like, nor he showed/showered any affection on her that made her fall in love with him. From the beginning it was instant, she knew from the bottom of her heart he is hers. Thats why when she is in need of something, without checking or hesitating she would turn to Ram, and without her asking Ram knows what she wants and helps her, e.g., opening tiffin box. Thats why she was so sure he will come in the right time to stop the wedding. When we see Ram was all nervous exposing his love, Janu didnt have any confusion or ashamed or even nervous. She knew her feeling is not wrong. This kind of instant connections are powerful. Ram/Janu see each other as someone with whom they can open up without worrying about being judged, and in the 22 years they haven't found someone who they are comfortable with at this same level. Seeing Ram getting her food without Janu asking, they eating from the same plate were all the minute things to show us they don't need a re-introduction to feel the connection. If they needed the re-introduction, then that questions the whole idea of the movie.

 

I managed to watch the movie without a single emotional burst .... I was hoping VS travels with Trisha to Trichy atleast and they got few more hours in flight
