    OK, you are entitled to your opinion and I for mine.:)
    Thank you for the appreciation.
    Hmm...seems you are still fixated on this silent 'இ' which is not even accounted for while counting எழுத்து leave alone the remaining 5 அசை, சீர், தளை, அடி, தொடை of யாப்பிலக்கணம். நான் உணர்ந்த வரையில், என் இல்லாத அறிவுக்கு எட்டியவரையில், தமிழிலக்கணத்தின் படி இவ்விடம் உள்ள 'இ' "இருக்கு ஆனா இல்லை " என்ற விதியின் கீழ் தான் வரும். மீண்டும் மீண்டும் இந்த 'ர' கர 'ல ' கர வரிசைத் திசைச்சொற்கள் பயன்பாட்டைப் பற்றியே சிந்திப்பதால், இத்தகு திசைச்சொற்களைப் பயனுறுத்தியதற்கு(பயனுறுத்துவதற்கு) நாணமே எழுகின்றது. ஒரு மொழியின் பயன்பாட்டாளராக என்னைத் தகவமைத்துக்கொள்ளத் தூண்டும் படிச்செய்த நீங்கள் ஒரு நேர்மையான வாசகராக வெற்றி பெறும் இடம் இது. வாழ்த்துகள் மற்றும் நன்றி !:number_one::clap2:
    இரசம் மட்டுமல்ல, இவ்விடம் எடுத்தாளப்பட்ட 'ருசி' என்பதும் திசைச்சொல்லே, அதன் நிகர்த்தமிழ்ச்சொல் 'சுவை'. I repeat again, writing a silent'அ '/'இ'/' உ' in the beginning of such of 'ர',' ல' வரிசைத் திசைச்சொற்கள், is just a 'silent tactic' for shaming the users of such non தமிழ் words and edging/nudging them to use more appropriate தமிழ் words.

    Puritans(original) of the language might never have had a problem in doing so, but people with limited vocabulary like me have no choice but to incorporate these திசைச்சொற்கள் not only in our so called 'literary works' but also in our day to day activities. At least I can take heart from the fact that am admitting my ignorance and inability but when I observe most of those who call themselves 'protectors of the land, language, culture and the people' in modern times, I am speechless/witless at their pathetic understanding and abuse/misuse of what they call as their own. Even more pathetic is the fact that they are blissfully unaware of their ignorance and at times even wage war against those very people who try to explain them that most words they use that they think are தமிழ்ச்சொற்கள் are actually not தமிழ்ச்சொற்கள். Leave them be...

    As a செம்மொழி,தமிழ் has an exhaustive and clear இலக்கண விதிகள் that governs its usage which helps us to understand the reason behind why we do certain things, one such being the use of an added silent 'e'. It is amazing, is n't it? All answers should be there awaiting the right questions, I suppose. The answers to questions that even brightest of bright minds might have in future too would be there somewhere in the language's oceans of literary works from a glorious past, some lost, some found, some lying in between... I wonder how many secrets and answers have we lost or misinterpreted while decoding those literary works of both these classical languages, Sanskrit and தமிழ். I feel that the death/decay of a language might not happen overnight but if it is left unattended, unquestioned, uncared, it sure happens over a massive period of time, very slowly, very silently, very unknowingly...

    I wonder how தமிழர்கள்( even me here) who have a Classic Language for a native tounge are comfortable /prefer to use a language that has limited grammar and is also called' crazy' at times by even native speakers. ஆங்கிலம் பெரிதும் கலந்த 'மணிப்பிரவாள' நடையில் அமைந்த எனது இந்தப் பதிவைப் படிக்கும் வாசகர்கள் என்னை மன்னிக்கக் கோருகிறேன்.

    Recently my husband received a video clip in WhatsApp..A little over 3 minutes scene from an American Sitcom "I Love Lucy" regarding the various forms of pronouncing 'ough' in English words... sharing the YouTube link for the same
    I can not but wonder how come a language with such limited capability has become the one recognized and even used extensively all over the world?!

    After watching that clip I googled to know who the pair of actors were and found about Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball and about their real life marriage. It reminded me of our own தமிழ்த் திரைப்பட நகைச்சுவைக் கலைஞர்கள் as well as real life couple N.S.Krishnan T.A. Madhuram and got reminded of their comedy cum song sequence scene in 'அம்பிகாபதி' தமிழ்த்திரைப்படம் .

    1960 களில் தமிழகத்தில் தி.க இயக்கங்கள் ஹிந்திக்கும், அதற்கு முன்பிருந்தே வடமொழிக்கும் எதிராக தமிழர்களைத் திரட்டி நடத்திய போராட்டங்களினால், தமிழ் வளர்ந்ததா இல்லைக் காப்பாற்றப்பட்டதா என்ற வினாவிற்கு என்னிடம் விடையில்லை. அவர்கள் எந்த மொழிகளைக் கண்டு "அய்யோ, இதைக் கற்றால், எதிர்காலத்தில் தமிழ் அழிந்துவிடும் !" (ஒரு மொழியைக் கற்றால் இன்னொரு மொழி எப்படி அழியும்?!) என்ற வெற்று அச்சத்தைப் பரப்பினார்களோ, அவற்றைக் காட்டிலும் வேற்றுமொழிகளிலிருந்து வெட்கமேயின்றிக் கடன் வாங்கியோ அல்லது திருடியோ தன்னுடைய சொற்களஞ்சியத்தை விரிவாக்கிக்கொண்டே செல்கின்ற ஆங்கிலம் தான் இன்று தமிழின் அழிவிற்கும் மெல்ல மெல்ல அடித்தளமிட்டு வருகின்றது, அதில் நிறைய வெற்றியும் பெற்றுவிட்டது என்பது என் எண்ணம்.. இதையே அழகாகக் கூறும் பட்டிமன்றப் புகழ் சாலமன் பாப்பையாவின் அண்மைப் பேட்டி(முழுமையும்) ஒன்றின் காணொலி இணையத் தொடர்பு இவ்விடம்..

    வழமைக்கு மாறாக இப்பதிவின் தொடர்ச்சியாய் நிறையவே பேசிவிட்டேன் (எழுதிவிட்டேன்). ஆகையால், இத்துடன் நிறுத்திக் கொள்ள எண்ணுகிறேன்.. புரிதலுக்கு நன்றி! :)

    Oh..Already moved before I could post my reply ?!:grinning: Never mind... I prefer to post my reply in this section itself as it contains both English and தமிழ்.

    Hmm..If it was that simple it could have been better. The whole issue of a local language being overshadowed by English, either be it தமிழ் or any other, is because of the inability of the speakers to set clear cut boundaries and not because of the limitations of the vernacular languages itself. Where to use English and when to use their own language.. many people are confused..the intersection has grown so dense and boundaries are blurred to the extent that English has successfully replaced/diminished the usage of the vernacular tongue in many ways at least in தமிழ்நாடு if not any where else in India as far as I am aware.

    I have been surprised so many times at the obvious ease with which the not so 'well educated' section of our society back home handles English and uses more appropriate words even. If we try to speak chaste தமிழ் with them, they will look at us as an alien. Weird but fact.

    Though I understand the importance of English in this modern world where many earn their livelihood by writing computer code, (neither me nor husband wrote/write computer codes) I just am afraid of those people's inability to keep it professional and use their native tongue liberally without any shame when it comes to personal life. நம்மாட்கள் நிறைய பேர் கொடுத்தக் காசுக்கு மேல கூவுவாங்கோ. நீங்க வேணா கேட்டுப்பாருங்க... ரெண்டு தமிழன் எங்கயாவது சந்திச்சா வணக்கம்னு சொல்றதைவிட ரொம்ப இஸ்டைலா 'ஹலோ ஹொவ் ஆர் யு ' ன்னு குசலம் விசாரிப்பாங்கோ...இது தான் எனக்கு, என்னைப் போல் பலருக்கு எரிச்சல் தரும்.

    இங்கிலீஸ்காரனுக்கே இங்கிலீஷ் சொல்லிக்கொடுக்கற வேலை நிறைய பேரு செய்யறாங்க.. (அப்படி இல்லாதவங்களப்பத்தி இங்கேப் பேசவேயில்லை, அதனால யாரும் தயவு செய்து கோவிச்சுக்க வேண்டாம் ) அது தப்புன்னு நான் கட்டாயம் சொல்லமாட்டேன். நல்ல ஆங்கிலம் பேசவும் எழுதவும், பயனுறுத்தவும் கத்துக்கறது தப்பே இல்லை. ஆனா எல்லைக்குள்ள இருக்கணும், நம்ம மொழியில நமக்கு நல்ல தேர்ச்சி இருக்கணும். நம் மொழியைப் பேச வெட்கப்படக் கூடாது. இது தான் என்னோட தாழ்மையான கருத்து. பாரதிகூட "யாமறிந்த மொழிகளிலே " அப்படீன்னு சொல்லும்போது அவருக்குத் தமிழ் தவிர பற்பல மொழியில் தேர்ச்சியிருந்திருக்குன்னு தெரியுதே! இருந்தாலும் அவர் கவியெழுதத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த மொழி தமிழ் தானே, அவரது தாய்மொழி தானே ?

    மற்றபடி,Tamil Nation agitation saving English education which in turn paved for better chance at a comfortable future for so many from India is an altogether different subject which I am in no position to support for or object. So I shall remain silent on this.

    சுற்றுப்புறச்சூழல் மற்றும் சுகாதாரக் கேடுகள் நிறைந்துள்ள இன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில், காலணியின்றி வெளியே செல்வோரின் எண்ணிக்கை மிகக்குறைவு. வெளியில் செல்லும் போது காலணி அணிந்து செல்வது உடல் நலத்திற்கு நன்மையளிக்கும், அதுவே அறிவார்ந்த செயலும் ஆகும்..ஆனால் நாம் வீட்டிற்குத் திரும்பிவிட்டாலோ, அதைக் கழற்றி அதற்குரிய இடத்தில் வைத்துவிட்டு வெறுங்கால்களோடே செயல்படலாம். அதுபோலவே ஆங்கிலம் என்னும் வேற்றுமொழியைப் பயனுறுத்துவதும் வீட்டிற்கு வெளியே இருந்தால், நல்லது. இப்போது நிறைய வீடுகளில்,தட்பவெப்பம் சமநிலையிலிருந்தும் கூட, வீட்டிற்குள்ளேயே எல்லோரும் காலணி அணிந்து கொண்டு தானே நடக்கிறோம்? அது போன்றே ஆங்கிலத்தை வீட்டின் வரவேற்பறை மட்டுமல்ல எல்லா மூலை முடுக்குகளிலும் கூட இடைவெளியின்றி நிறைத்துவிடுகின்றோம்.(இந்தியாவும் சில நூறாண்டுகள் அன்றைய ஆங்கிலேயரின் கீழிருந்த காலனி நாடுகளில் ஒன்று என்பதாலோ என்னவோ). இப்படிச் செய்வதால் அவரவரது தாய்மொழி (இவ்விடம் தமிழ் என்று கொள்க) அவர்களுக்கிடையேயே சற்றே அல்ல சிலசமயம் முற்றும் கூடப் பயனுறுத்தப்படுவது தவிர்க்கப்படுகின்றது. இது கவலைக்குரியது, உடனே சரிவர கவனிக்கப்படவேண்டியது என்பது என் தனிப்பட்டக் கருத்து.

    மேலும், இந்தப் பதிவினால் யார் உள்ளமும் புண்படும்படி நான் பேசியிருந்தால், எழுந்தியிருந்தால், தயைகூர்ந்து மன்னிக்க வேண்டுகிறேன். தாய்மொழியை இழிவுபடுத்துகிறோம் என்று உணராமலே செயல்படுவோரைப் பற்றி எண்ணியதால் வந்த எனது உள்ளக்குமுறலின் விளைவே இது. யாரையும் அவமதிக்கும் எண்ணம் சிறிதுமில்லை. நன்றி! :)

    பி.கு. இந்தப் பதிவோடு நான் மெய்யாகவே இது தொடர்பான உரையாடலை நிறைவு செய்ய விழைகிறேன்... புரிதலுக்கு மீண்டுமொரு நன்றி !

    @PavithraS பவித்ரா உரையாடலுக்கு முற்று புள்ளி வைத்தது நல்லது .நாம் அமைதியாக இருந்தால் அதை பயம் என்று எடுத்து கொண்டால் அவர்கள் அப்படியே நினைத்து கொள்ளட்டும் .நேரம் வரும் நாம் பேசுவோம்
