An urgent help is required for my neighbour..she has hired a maid just recently 2 month ago for full time household work..she was very good at work and very honest also..after completing one and half month of work, she told that due to some family problem she is going to her native place..she has taken about half month salary as advance and promised to come back in one week...but 2 weeks over since she went to her native, she still has not come back. She has worked on some other known person's house also, and they can vouch that she is good and reliable lady, not the type who will run away with money. Probably due to family problem she is getting delayed in coming back home.. She recently shifted her home and my neighbour doesn't have her address..she only has the mobile numbers of maid and maid's husband, both are in native place...they don't have network hence phone is not reachable (maid already told her that she won't get network in her village)., neighbour has kept some temporary maid till the time her maid comes back, temporary maid is not so good and her quality of work is bad.. Coming to the point, can my neighbour get the address of the maid or her husband using mobile number?so she can enquire from neighbours or relatives staying nearby as to when the maid will be back from native.. (Obviously police maybe able to help..but when there is no complaint against maid why to give police complaint and spoil image of maid?) Getting a good maid is very very difficult as many of you know, so any of u know a way , either online or offline, to find out local address or permanent address from mobile number, it would be useful for my neighbour.
I doubt you can find information in any website. If you have any contacts in the network provided company(phone connection) you can try to locate the address & they can also find when/where the # was last used. Their systems are not very heavily secured, any CSR can get this information. Hope this helps!
Seriously? Someone really want to trace maid's location with her no? 'maid missing' complaint at police station would do!
Yes but police complaint is always last resort.. I told my neighbour that it's better not to trust such people with money if not reliable.
