Ladies, some of you know that I recently released a book. I am working on my second book now and I am wondering if I can ask for a few suggestions. The next book is going to be based on food shown in cinema/ TV.
I am including recipes (technique OPOS, developed by Rama krishnan) from

    1. Food served on Titanic (25 recipes)
    2. Food served by Hannibal Lecture (Mads MikKelson) in Hannibal (3 recipes)
    3. One recipes shown in Cheeni Kum (Amitabh Bachan)
    4. One recipe from Lunch Box (Nimrat Kaur)
    5. Luv Shuv tey Chicken Khurana (1 recipe, pot excluded as its illegal in most countries)
    6. Bawarchi (one recipe by Rajesh Khanna).

that makes it only 32 recipes.
I need to make it 60 recipes. Can anyone give me suggestions about food (any genre, any language, though I would love some Indian regional food) as shown in TV??

    please. This will help me.

Wow congrats !Can you tell the title of your book . I’m yet to buy OPOS books.
You can include popular food items one from each state in India . Unity in diversity !!

Thank you Shravs; I will PM you the book name, it is against forum rules to post links here.
I dont want to do popular dishes from every state. The theme of the book is going to be food shown on TV. I am thinking I will name it "OPOS, as seen in Cinema"...what say?
So basically I need some suggestions on popular food items shown in cinema.

Congrats on your book, Rakhii! I bought a bunch of the recent OPOS ones, wonder if yours is among them! Have you seen the book "Bollywood Kitchen: Home Cooked Indian Meals Paired with Unforgettable Bollywood Films" by Sri Rao? That might provide some inspiration.

I love most recipes that Venkatesh bhat has in his shows. I do not know about copy rights and whether his recipes can be taken for publishing, but u could consider if it is allowed. He has a wide variety of recipes from all regions of India.

Thank you, nice of you to ask. I will send you PM...

I would greatly appreciate if you can think of a movie that has food emphasis. I am falling short of regional ideas. I was thinking English Vinglish but does it have anything else other than ladoo???

    Harry potter- butter beer
There is a movie from the 70s 'they call me trinity' that has a scene where Terrence Hill sloppily eats beans and bread for the longest time. Watch it and you'll want to eat beans too! May be 'Eat Pray Love' has something? I think the movie 'Queen' had a part where the girl tries to sell gol guppas in Amsterdam.
