Hi ladies, greetings to all.. . I hv been an active member in IL three years back.. After my baby was born, became very busy and now he s three years.. I m running a preschool in a town of Tamilnadu.. Started last year with three children now there are 35. .. Everything s gud going except my health...

I keep googling for any symptom and I guess now am at this point due to it .. I m 28 n I get gastric pain in chest back even arm and apparently I relate to heart attack n imagine till death etc etc... Due to this being chronic, I started getting palpitations and anxiety breathing issues .. Everyday trying to get out of it but it's really an addiction to worry and feeling low .. Personally I have no issues in family and my husband is a gem and a great friend. . Pl help me to get out of this also is anxiety breathing is common? Expecting inputs from you all.. . This gastric pain is one instance but I too much get agonized for many like headache to many other. ..

Hi vandhenakrish. Are your food timings regular? Do you have hectic work during working hours.Do you take children to your arms and carry them as a part of your job?
You can trying taking an antacid (example tab pantop)tablet on empty stomach ..may be halfnhour before your breakfast or before you eat anythig in the morning.
Please check your thyroid profile too as you are saying you get palpitations .
And regarding googling your symptoms . It might show too many and remote causes for each symptom which will not be applicable in each and every case.

Food n sleep are the same.. But getting tensed in the mng while cooking. . Waking up late and worried wat if Mil says something ... I feel pressurised.. I recently met my family doctor who did all tests including b12, thyroid, blood, hormones, vitamin d , magnesium and calcium .. No thyroid n magnesium n b12 are Lil less so gave tablets. ..

I don't think that I have health issues I m overthinking n not able to come out of it.. Work s smooth but my toddler make it hectic at school ...

So looks like you are doing fine physically, but mentally under stress. Since you have figured out the issue, stop googling to find what the problem is (google can exaggerate a small skin dot into cancer) n look for trying out a few solutions.

Overthinking can also be one of your character traits. Could have been subtle before and a lot stronger now. How long have you had this issue?

I know one distant grandma who overthinks everything, seriously everything, even a common headache / flu will seem like a deadly disease that's out to get her life.

Her son took her for counselling n many doctors. She was completely healthy n counsellors named it as just her character n that it's gona be hard to change her character at that age. But you maybe at an advantage due to your age.

She's really old now n she's still like that even right now. Have heard some other relatives teasing her saying that because everything is going well (good family, health, financial stability, everything good), she's trying to find a problem when there's none because she needs something to worry about.

One technique to try is, try breaking it down.
    Problem: Wake up late
    Consequence: mil upset
Solutions: sleep early-wake up early /
wake up late n let mil get upset (she will get used to it after a few times) n come up with a few more solutions

    Problem: gas
    Consequence: pain
Solutions: find if any particular food or eating time causes it / have antacid / if it's triggered mentally, ignore n find a distraction

Similarly try breaking down all your problems. It might give you sense of control n reduce anxiety to some level. Ask yourself what will make you feel better during every problem. Make a list n try out few solutions n see which one is more effective.

Seems like type A personality traits.Nothing to worry.why don't u try learning meditation or pursuing some kind of hobby.
C'mon ya u r managing 35 toddlers (a wonderful thing. You can look at the funny things they do and forget rest of the world) and scared of milo_O.What if the cooking gets late.WHen yourself and DH are in good terms u dont have to worry about MIL.Take your time.
Mind gets calm only if you ignore all the petty things.TAke a break from your routine for a day or two.

Simplest DIY to beat stress and tension are,
    1.Deep breathing/Pranayam.
    2. Do something that makes you very happy-it could be anything from a hobby to going thru old photographs or simple watching clouds etc. These help to take your mind from the stressful thoughts.
    3. Maintain a journal/gratitude journal. You will learn to see positive things and you will subconsciously start being positive and happy.
    4. Go for a relaxing holiday.

Try something on similar lines. If none of these help seek a professional's help.
    All the best.

Have you considered writing down your fears in a paper or laptop ? Read them when you are calm. You will be able to find root cause of your anxiety.
