"wondering How Or When"

Hi my dear IL friends,

Am happy to be back here with my next and 4th story. Hope i can keep up all your expectations and interests full filled in this story. Please read and let me know the pros and cons. Part: 1

"Ma, ma, where are you? Please come here soon." Yelled Arjun from the living area.

"Maya go and see what he wants ma. I can't leave this and go now."

Vaidehi who was busy cooking spoke to Maya without even lifting her head.

"Ma! me!!? came a hesitant voice.

"Yes ma, go before he calls again". Saying she turned and continued her work.

Maya kept looking at Vaidehi for few seconds, then moved from there and went to the place from where Arjun's voice came.

She stopped at the entrance of the living area before moving further, seeing him sitting on the sofa.

Hearing the sound of foot steps,

"You came, good good come and help me with this". Wiping his wet hair with towel, Arjun called her.

Maya stood there looking at his head without knowing what to do.

"Come ma, please, it's getting late for me". Arjun hurried her signalling to wipe his hair dry.

Maya did as told without uttering a word.

"Ma, the way you do it, makes me feel sleepy. There is a magic in your hand ma".

Saying he held her left hand and placed a kiss in her palm without opening his eyes. The moment he felt a difference, Arjun immediately opened his eyes to see who it was.

Was it a surprise or shock, Arjun kept looking at her without blinking and still holding her hand.

The sofa was placed facing the entrance door and Arjun was seated looking at the tv mounted on the wall near the door. As Maya came from the kitchen which was on the right side from the entrance and left to Arjun. He didn't notice who was coming behind.

"That was a perfect pose Aju". Came a female voice from the doorstep.

Both of them hurriedly moved away immediately recognising the voice with different mindset.

Maya thought to herself, "I am gone today for sure", and gave a welcoming smile to the visitor.

Arjun's thought was like, "Wow what a timing she has got all in this world, Aju there is not even one good deed you have done neither in the previous birth nor in this". He turned and stared at the visitor.

"Hi Anu, pleasant to see you this morning". Maya greeted her with a happy smile.

"Very unfortunate to see you this morning". Arjun gritted his teeth.

"You are very mean man", replied Anu and gave an affectionate hug to Maya.

"Have you come alone where is Anna?"

"I am here my dear sister, see for this only elders always say that every house should have a girl child, who will always show affection to others, unlike this idiot who is standing in the way without allowing me inside". Saying so Aryan gave a strong pat on Arjun's shoulder.

"Yes, yes why not please do come in and have your honourable seat Mr.Aryan". Arjun's tone sent him an alert.

"Hey machan, what happen da? You seem to be very angry". Aryan asked him with concern.

"All because of you people only". Arjun frowned at him and both went and sat separately while the ladies went inside.

"What we did da?" Aryan was surprised of his accusation.

"She already doesn't talk with me properly and now this Anu has put us both in embarrassment by taking a picture of us and has started teasing. Now for at least another 10 days she won't even lift her face and see me".

Seeing Arjun's dull face Aryan started to laugh.

"Good morning dad", both heard a sleepy little voice.
