Hi everyone! Travel, travel and more travel this and next couple of months. I might not be able to update regularly. Averaging around 10K steps a day. No running yet though knee feels a lot better. Thinking of trying a really short run over the coming weekend.

Hope everyone is recovering well from their injuries. @SunPa How did the ride go?

    Hello ILs,
I hope all are doing well  . I was on a vacation followed by an official volunteering work. Did not find time to work out .
Yesterday I walked 2 KMs. Weather was not good in the morning.
Today I can see the shining sun. Will run in the evening :)
    Best Regards,
    R

I am doing well @Shanvy thank you for enquiring and reviving the thread. I have to confess that medal and the importance of that race two weeks ago was too much of a draw for me not to do. I decided to walk the half but ended up doing a 14min run/walk and all is well. I am not known for doing my best but my philosophy has been better get to the start line healthy than not at all....so turtle pace it is for me. I was glad I did though after a complete stop to all exercise for a month and half.

Now back to spinning three times a week and hopefully will start a two day runs in between soon. Some from of cross training is what keeps me going.

@Gauri03 , enjoy your travels and take it easy. @SunPa howdy? @ashima10 - please update to keep us motivated, @reca thanks for keeping the thread alive @kkrish see you soon @Shanvy and @justanothergirl and rest of the girls - love :)

    Have a fabulousday every one!

Take care @Shanvy . Yeap - not like you to "give up" .Love your spirit :worship2:

The cycle ride was exhilarating!! While I kind of knew the route ( they had blocked roads in the Central business District ) , I didnt analyse it. The ride was thru a bridge which is the tallest and the longest in the city. Yeah we had to ride up and then zoom down and then turn around and go back  . Most riders did get off, and stood taking selfies with some of the citys landmark in the back ground. Not a selfie addict but succumbed to peer pressure and took one. I had to dismount on the way back, and walk up for a few mins, because I was panting. But the rest of the ride was good andI felt I reached the finish point too soon. I surprised myself with a better timing than my practice, jolly pleased with myself. The whole atmosphere was great.

Sorry for not updating , I had work travel to hong kong - and went hiking too as team activities. And boy are those towel scrunching helping me. Some hamstring and quad and hip flexor stretches and and that @Srama's fav stretch - like I had a massage. Thanks @Shanvy, @Srama - for your suggestions.

I am the oldest in our team, which is filled with youngsters. And they complained of aches and wondered how come I was ok . I asked how many stretched after reaching the room. None did. I told them stretches were my bestie. But they were like - "so tired, how to exercise, just crashed" - the privilege of being young :buenrollo:

Oh and being vegetarian and travelling means landing up eating carbs and desserts for most meals. Not weighing myself anytime soon .

I need to get back to some exercise. Have a short vacation this weekend and some guests. Atleast I should walk a bit more.

Aye coming reporting here this Friday to get some accountability.

Right there with u all....I have been officially asked to stay off my feet. I have a suspicion the aggravation is partly because of changed shoes. I went from Brooks Ariel to NB the last year or so. Back to my good old Brooks .Hope to get back to walking if not running before end of summer. Take care everyone!
