    Hello All,

I am staying in Reading currently, but its quite costlier than what I could afford. So looking for a shared accommodation in either Reading or Bracknell with an Indian Family or Indian Females.

    My work location is Bracknell.

Please let me know if you are aware of any accommodation details.

    Thanks,
    Renuka

    Hi everyone,

My husband will be moving to UK this March and i will join him on april with my 6 months old baby girl. Before we stayed in US and for baby v came back to india. Since this is our first time in UK, we both don't have any idea.
So here are some questions which I think u guys can help..

My hubby's office will be in Guildford so which will be the best and affordable place to live? I would prefer Guildford to stay as it will be near to his office but his colleagues say there are no Indians in this place so what to do as I need some friends. If not in Guildford our next option will be Reading as i heard many Indians stay in Reading if so which are safe areas and near to train stations?

Will I get utensils in cheap price in UK or do I need to carry some from india?

What all things I need to carry for a baby which I don't get in UK?

Thanks in advance , hope I will get some responses..

Hello girls ( Apologies, I like to use 'girls' instead of 'ladies' as it makes me feel younger ! :p )

In Reading since March 2017, so far so good. I do miss socialising though, although I do know that our Indian junta is pretty strong in Reading ! Wassup with you folks ? Are you into any activities? I am trying to see if there are any carnatic music classes in and around Reading? Really really want to start learning music ! If you also know of skype classes (ofcourse good ones ) would be really appreciated! Thanks!

@Nikki2917 , Reading would certainly be a good choice as you have got a good Indian population (if you are looking for one) and also you have really good schools here ( ofcourse once the baby grows older :p ) Choice of accomodation depends on ur budgets.. you have got pretty decent flats in the city center with budgets from 700 odd to 1200+ for unfurnished to furnished) If you are looking for houses( row house) near station look at areas towards Caversham side of the station such as York road, swansea road, you have pretty decent ones. Hope it helps !
