    Niels Bohr and Albert Einstein discussed the possibility of reducing the existence of life into a mathematical equation and gave the assignment to a mathematician in Europe in a fiction written by Jose Rodrigues dos Santos called, "Einstein's Enigma". Even though it is a fiction, there is a lot of scientific evolution discussed in this book. They came to the conclusion that there are 32 conditions that need to exist for life to survive in this planet and to their surprise all these conditions are flawlessly met with zero defect. That Fourier equation remains unwritten.

    The book goes on to analyze that there has to be a purpose why humans were created and came to the conclusion that even though the intellectual aspect of how the life is created belong to a higher power, the human life is created to analyze, interpret and eventually build its own to assist the higher power.

    In the spiritual world, "Who am I?", "Where did I come from?" and "Where am I going?" are three questions we keep asking ourselves many times throughout our lives. I like old Kabbalah's interpretation of life. A single existence wanted to love and be loved and therefore separated itself into another entity. The newly created entity merged back into the existence as it had the same quality as the existence to give love. Therefore, the existence modified it to have a quality to receive and enjoy love. However, the original nature of the existence and new entity conflicted and hence the existence created a third quality to perform actions independently. These three qualities are explained in the Hindu philosophy as Satwic, Tamosic and Rajasic and remaining in constant state of bliss is known as "Turya" or "Fourth".

    Therefore, the interpretation here is if we are filled purely with love and see all are one, we are divine existence and when we perform actions for ourselves and feel us as independent, we are human and when we perform actions for the common good of everyone we transform ourselves from human to divine.

    All the above questions are answered depending on whether we see ourselves as existence or entity.

    I forgot to comment on this.
    While, yes, we have come a long way, we still have limitations.
    Though we know the chemical structure of chlorophyll we have not yet synthesized it.
    Technical advances yes, but creating the fundamentals for life, not yet.

    We still cannot beat or overcome many things in nature.

    Also, our species may cease to exist as the moon moves away from us and as the sun begins to expand.
    We may evolve into a totally different species.
    In a way you are right. We may be tomorrow's dinosaurs.

    @Iravati man!! You had some childhood , I might be envious !!the only alien life that I knew existed was Sabu from chacha chowdary :blush: so thank you for introducing to pustak mahal . No clue these existed , will be my read for next visit to homeland . Woohoo !! I wonder where the standard green bodied wide eye depiction of aliens came about .
    Now who took away our Bermuda Triangle , ( did not know there is a founded research on this), there’s Atlantis lying beneath is all I know !!

    I have learned and added new things to my read list , just over a couple of posts . Thank you so much !!
    @Viswamitra how beautifully you explain
    , now if only everybody came to this self realization . Prolly the relationships forum wouldn’t exist.

    @kkrish i tried to look up some articles but couldn’t find much . The only article I came across was Emotions are Cognitive, Not Innate, Researchers Conclude
    Will see if I can further find something . @irvati @Viswamitra any suggestions here ?

    @Endlessshope,

    To determine whether emotions are Cognitive or Innate, we need to understand where it comes from. Emotions are generally associated with thoughts and hence we need to find out where our thoughts are coming from. Physically, we know thoughts emanate in the Mind but we don't know how they are created. Mind is a cauldron of thoughts and if we become completely thoughtless, the Mind ceases to exist. Only innate thing in our existence is our Being that is heavily encrypted. Our mission is to unfold and understand the encryption and eliminate them to find the innate nature of us. It is like taking the Jack fruit out of the thorny skin. How a thought is empowered by assigning energy, how an action is performed, what we learn from our life experience, etc. are part of this exercise. If encryption creates thoughts, emotions and hence the Mind, directing the Mind to understand about itself is an uphill task we all struggle with. We have to raise above the Mind to view its deceptions.

    Our cognitive capabilities should be directed to study Microcosm rather than Macrocosm. By limiting our mind to study the Macrocosm, we are creating a prism that drifts the vision. If we study the cells, we understand they have intelligence, built with a capability to work in an interdependent society and coordinate well with each other. They are focused on their contribution to the society of cells.

    Where do I come from? I had a wild childhood watching everything deviant broadcasted on television. Back then, there was no parental control so my parents were oblivious of the creepy stuff I was glued to. I would watch all those supernatural and mystery and horror footage and documentaries. To boot, rented videos on The Ultimate Supernatural Collection. I had abnormal tastes in my own fanciful way. But, hey, I was a kid, and all kids have their quirks and tics.

    Prior to that, I was fascinated with Johnny Quest series on Cartoon Network which inducted kids into science fiction and speculative lore. Either that or the mecha anime series.

    Much to talk here on cognition and emotional response starting with Descartes and his playful theory of brain sand. The problem with me is that I am unhinged and I would excite and scratch away mouthful on topics that are safe and thrilling likewise and then you have to resort to gagging me, or I might end up disappointing you with Ge b’e thig gun chuireadh, suidhidh e gun iarraidh. Hey, the Easter Island is still in our hold. Chevron Six encoded! Chevron Seven locked! Khul ja Stargate!

    if you will forgive a bit of factual nitpicking, I'd like to point out that the synthesis of Chlorophyll-A by Bob Woodward in 1960 (Nobel 1965) is one of the great triumphs of modern organic chemistry, a story that schoolchildren thrill to even today. Sometimes people forget that since his synthesis of Vitamin B12, the most complex molecule ever synthesized at the time, overshadowed prior achievements. Hans Inhoffen reported the formal total synthesis of Chlorophyll-B a few years later. Woodward was a giant of 20th-century chemistry, a stunning scientific intellect - the Wikipedia page is worth reading.

    There is also a seamier side to this story of greatness. I include it here for its human interest.

    What Bobs in the woodwork? Didn’t our endosymbiont salamanders with solar ingenuity figure this all out gloriously. Yes, they never made it to the textbook though as they were declared too spotty for a mugshot.

    Arrey Ira, we're talking total chemical synthesis vs biosynthesis! Millions of years of evolution vs a few years at the lab bench.

    Irav is just goofing around with the human interest in you. There you go, some contributory animal interest to boot.
