What things would you do ur you were not afraid?

Perhaps we can add to it when we think of something.

Will give us, and other new way of thinking

    I'll start

    1. Have Father-Daughter trip to India for month. Forget about the fraud. Forget about betrayal. Forget about trying to get me married right now. Just visit places, wear pretty dresses, attend get-togethers. Allow me to sit and do plein air painting.

    2. Paint whatever I want in office mess hall, rather than hiding so I'm not influenced by what others want me to paint. Nor am I scared about turning down unwanted commission. Sometimes NO is best answer.

    3. Get smarter about growing money.

    4. Apart from actively taking care of Dad's health, shadow a Doctor to appreciate this field.

    5. Go up to a young man and say "hello".

    6. Politely decline sweets or tasty treats from coworkers.

Interesting thread @ChennaiExpress .. Here are a few that came to my mind as I read your post -

Things I Would Do If I Was Not Afraid/Shy (Being an Introvert, this "being Shy" always come in the way)

    1. I would travel alone - If I am not afraid about my safety. I hate waiting for people / friends to make some travel plans and these days it never happens. I desperately long to get out and go somewhere!

    2. I would dress as I like - If am not afraid of those extra curves and being judged by ppl I know

    3. I would tell a lot of ppl to "Go to Hell" or "Mind their Business" - If I am not afraid of being tagged rude.
    4. I will join a vocal class - If am not afraid that I will be laughed at
    5. I would kill every single person (read animal) who sexually abuse a Child - Of course, If am not afraid of obvious consequences.
    6. I would dance and sing in the rain - If am not afraid of being tagged crazy
    7. And, yeah.. I would eat Briyani whenever I want - If am not afraid of Calories!

Will add if I thing of more!

1.I will tell a lot of people to just "have opinions and keep their verdict to themselves" and yeah yell at some of them and even give two tight snaps..Infact make it four

Wow..just felt good to even say that lol.

    2. I will wear a lot of short clothes. In India especially.

    3. I quite have social anxiety which makes me not take up a job involving lot of people around.I am also afraid I am not smart enough to take up a challenging job.I will do that

    4. I will join dance competitions and even join a dance troupe.

    5. i will make lots and lots of friends

6.I will host lots of parties.

7.I will move back to India.

    Wow these are really great.

Yeah I wish I can travel alone and make new friendships along the way. And also eat Biryani (and other tasty meals) with these new friends.

I wish we can create grassroots movement to introduce law that harshly punishes those who sexually abuse children.

Join a dance troupe, eh? That sounds really fantastic. I think that would open you up to people and give more confidence.

I will complete my kathak course and will become Bollywood choreographer or dancer. Too big but should not be afraid of thinking.

Will travel alone in public transport specially in bus. I like the long route.

Will go for a full time job.

Will meet some of my old friends and will tell them how bad they were to me.

Will spend lots of money in a day for just my shopping and parlour.

Will eat all kind of oily spicy crispy and sweets of very high calorie everyday.

I am afraid, as in squeamish, with public toilets. I even curtail my toilet visits on trains and planes. If I were less afraid of the unpleasantness in public toilet, then I would have travelled more and enjoyed my train trips as well.

I am also uncomfortable which borders on fear and anxiety in using faraway bathrooms (everywhere apart from my home bathroom qualifies). For now, I book only in hotels where a compassionate or paranoid traveller like me has posted the picture of a modest bathroom for the benefit of others in tripadvisor/airbnb reviews.

I blame my parents and their la-di-da upbringing for my affliction. If only they thwacked that three year old and exposed her to noxious elements emanating from a grimy toilet and commanded: do susu here. I was in a hostel for a while but mere karam phoote, that hostel had a marvellous bathroom and lavatory.

May be one of these days, I should join a rehab program to induct me gradually into public toilets to surmount my ridiculous fear.

I would love to travel a long route on a bus too. Just to see surrounding areas

How bad your friend were to you, LOL!

Better purchase at-home gym for all the oily spicy crispy and sweets!
