I see that you are left speechless...eh? Don't situations like, you-have a-whole-lot-of-linked-concepts-in-your-mouth, and you want to say it all right away, happen to you ? That is what happened.;)

Shouldn't Adai have a hole in the middle?
I had watched a video of vah-chef, who said there has to be a hole in the middle.
And by the way, the absence of a hole in the middle is what makes it harder to understand the poetry about donuts, and the ensuing discussion it spurred :tongueout:. [/QUOTE]

never mind about that. Would the moong dosa break apart in flipping if it is spread thinner ?
OK...here is some SparkNotes help on the matter of the donut poetry. But at first, you must re-read that poem titled "custard cream donut". And ponder the lyrics:
"So tan and fit on the outside
So moist and creamy on the inside"
And my buddy from Avon, England would label such things as "country matters", as in the play Hamlet, where the following conversation happens:
“Hamlet: Lady, shall I lie in your lap?
    Ophelia: No, my lord.
Hamlet: DId you think I meant country matters?
Ophelia: I think nothing, my lord.
Hamlet: That's a fair thought to lie between maids' legs.
    Ophelia: What is, my lord?
    Hamlet: Nothing.”
    William Shakespeare, Hamlet

“Hours and Hour put into baking
    This masterpiece

    Hours and Hours searching for
    The purest ingredients for
    The moist and creamy filling”

These lines had me confused on the invite & meaning . The OP is a champ.

How would you reconcile the above lines with the country matters meaning?

Yes sears has a broken point system which is exploited by many & they are aware of it.. you know they have filed for bankruptcy ?? Enjoy it , this might be their last or second last Christmas.
