    If I change the setting many others cannot see my pics.. which may not be much helpful as i am searching guys..
    To all as i said , I do not keep spying.. I have no feelings attached but I do not want them to see me thats all.. I have completely moved on

    You cant stop what other are thinking about you. But, you can definitely stop what you can think about them.. Life goes on.

    Maybe your ex FIL is the one creating so many FB accounts. You’d be surprised how many older folks suddenly become tech savvy when it comes to Facebook. Maybe he is just maintaining his “fraandships” and does not realize that creating one account is enough.
    There is no reason to worry if your settings are private and have not received friend requests from random people .

    Op does it really matter if he is checking your profile or you check his profile.
    Not checking will help people with moving on in life ....that's all.

    No matter how bad things go between people ,it is hard to just not want to know. It is normal human behavior. You did share a life together.

    If so create a new face book account with a totally different name. You can make your pictures public or private any time. If you want any particular guy to see your profile, may be you can add him to friends list for a certain period and later unfriend him. It is also easy to add a friend or remove a friend, anytime.

    Why dont you try matrimonial sites for this purpose. I think that is better than facebook for this purpose . Only those people interested in your profile will contact you or vice versa. Good luck

    excellent idea. Thats why FACE Book is nothing but FAKE book. 90% unknowns with less friends or very high number of friends are Fakes and definitely not for Marriage or dating. Even Truly Madly is not suggest able. Those are for time pass.

    I tried trulymadly and honestly most are for timepass. It so unfortunate that we women look for getting married and men look for need alone. Most women are serious but not men. Infact many tild me that they did not proceed with any girl as girls r looking for serious relationships. where as some guys openly say that they got few gurls her for casual relationships and they are happy with it

    Make your profile private and add only people whom you know.

    Don't look for love on Facebook. As you know, many people create fake profiles.
