This for u..before I sign out. All 3 legends. Dr.N Ramani on flute ,Lalgudi on the violin and I think its Umayalapuram on mridangam.
Hi @salad I was preoccupied with preparations for Navrathri luncheon at my place for quite a large group. Hence my delay. Yesterday the luncheon went well. I am tired but happy. My favorite instrument is the Veena. Started learning when I was 11... still playing. I practice everyday for 10-30 minutes. Another favorite instrument that I want to learn is the violin. I started classes some months ago, but the teacher quit (I am still wondering if it is out of frustration trying to teach me). I haven't touched the violin since then, but I will resume practice of whatever I learnt, from Vijayadasami - hoping for divine intervention to pour the intricacies and nuances of violin into my head . How I wish it was that simple. Favorite musicians - oh so many - I should say Veena Gayathri as she was my inspiration to learn the instrument.
I am not sure whether you would welcome humorous response or serious ones or both? thanks and regards.
Enna swami ethu? Peru paatha romba periya Thyagaraja bhagavathar mathiri. Aana humorsense reply pannannummaa?? Hei your name look like big musician but you are looking forward to give humorous response??
In the starting when I saw this video I was wondering weather it is a sports related video? (I am seeing this for the first time!) in the end I saw "Olympiad" . Nice music with sports spirit!
I have my violin. Actually for violin I have to tune it first and I can’t do it myself. I need a teacher for that. I have to wait for some time. Right now packed with job/baby and my classical dance. But violin is always in back of my mind. I thought of piano/Keyboard at one point as I can lean it from YouTube looking at those videos. Do you have your own Keyboard.
cool cool.. practicing for how many years now? it is very good that you still pracitising that. ha ha no no it won't because of you. You should keep searching for new teacher and all the best. May God Saraswathi devi bless you.
Yes I do, and the only problem to start is lack of discipline. I have been listening to violin yesterday and today, thanks to you!!
