"Pain- Ofcourse you will learn to tame it"

This was not the first time that it happened to me right.. I asked myself. But each and every time it happens, that pain becomes so unbearable at first and then you start coping up with that trouble, it's like your body is adjusting to bear that sudden emotional collapse. For the first time, it fell on my ego and abandon all the loved and hated faces out of my life for a week or so. After few days, when I returned back, I was still in the middle of the nuisance but it was tolerable. As a result, I went into some kind of strict principle and making rules out of my own to tame my life my way.

That was the very first time when I heard the heart fell and shattered and I fell apart from myself! I can never do this again I told myself and sucked up the tears. So 3-4 years in a row and I never dare to walk in that path again.. Part of me felt empty always though. I was in the healing process I guess. And after few years when I heard that sound again..which not only broke me but left me horrified and vacant.. the pain, the days, the time all of these..froze! Froze to Infinity.... that immense sadness, emptiness, insecure feeling, each and everything curbed and hugged me so tight that with each single breath I strangled and felt miserable of living that life. This time I didn't wish to feel better but, as I thought I have overcome only when I feel more terrible. Now, what did I lost.. myself? Yes, it is too obvious, but I lost the trust and confidence too. Emotions and senses left me and I went on with my terrible life.

So, how the pain is supposed to act you see, as you loose yourself free and let it engulf you slowly, you become hopeless, giddy & quiet. It is wrongly said that we should share our happiness, I strongly advise to share the pain. When We share the pain it gets less accordingly, how many times we burst out into tears and cry like hell we feel relieved. There's ain't any pain which is supposed to be with you forever and daggers you to death. There ain't any sadness to be upset forever. There is an end to every sadness, there is an end to every pain, there is an end to every misery, we just need to put an end to it. As overcoming a failure makes us successful in life same as overcoming a pain makes us strong in life!! If Something is killing you inside and you strangle to breathe.. go out and embrace some cold breeze, try to breathe, calm yourself down, talk to your people, people who really love you, they can help you they can lessen your pain. No pain can take you over!! Believe in yourself, have patience.

Soon the dark cloud will vanish and you will see the clear blue sky...

Pain for the Number of times I failed in my work
Pain for the differentiation while growing up
Pain for the heartbreaks over the years
Pain for the people I lost, who are not coming back again...

So you choose which pain to live with and which pain to leave behind and move on!!

    Fiction?
Here is one incident that actually happened. I filled a couple of 1 liter PET plastic bottles with water to put in the water pockets of my backpack, before I would go on a summer hike. Anyhow.. I filled one water bottle, put the lid on it tight, set it on the kitchen counter, and then was filling the other bottle and wile taking it off the sink, I topple the first bottle off the counter. It dives straight down, and hits me right smack on the second toe of my left foot. Eeewww! Agony! A liter is one kilogram weight, all concentrated in that bottle going down at my toe. That "little piggy"'s back got broken. No hike for me for the next few weeks. I had a small aluminium plate below the toe, and a plaster wrapped around it to prevent it from accidental wiggling, and causing me agony.
I wore a large styrofoam shoe on my left foot to go to sleep, so that I wont accidentally stub my toe and wake up in agony.
Pain can happen to you .... right out of nowhere. There isn't any such thing as acupuncture credits that one could stock up on. And pain killers can cause addiction.

Why is this in fiction sub forum, then?
And by the way, why should you think my styrofoam shoe was not allegorical?
We are on the internet, are we not?

Well, yes! my wrong.... I shouldn't have posted here.. my apologies..
But what is done is done.. so my point is if you have already went through it.. the whole time I wrote about the emotional pain and not physical pain. And I have not said anything or judged your story.. I just want make it clear that physical pain that you are talking about is not what I meant. So, it is not related.

Yes. Indeed we had not judged each other's pain. You got your pain, and I've got mine. And we are stuck with them, whether they be real, fictional, or allegorical.
A president of the USA had once said,"if you like your pain, you can keep your pain." And then it turned out to be no so. When you put out your pain on the internet, other people would volunteer their pains in their posts. They are merely attempting to show that people got their own pains; each one's pain is uniquely different, and could even be more complex, intricately drawing on various causes, (i.e., multi-faceted) than the others' pain. Sometimes, by just reading others' pains, our own might look trivial. However, we are deferential to the expressions of others', and not say that their pain is comparatively trivial.

You must write more about your pain.

I am planning to buy some shin-guards.

And all the best for your next trek.. Be safe!!

Ain't it fortuitous that you got on a fiction-subforum to start to write about pain. Now you can add a character who suffers the pain, more characters who inflict (or been the cause of) that pain. Voila! you'd have a story. As the creator of all the characters, you will be able to make those who inflict the pain suffer greater pain, and even a slow, prolonged death. Then it would turn out to be a Passion play fiction.
After you'd done that you'd certainly feel healed.
And of course, you already know that nobody believes anything they see on the internet. This is something Abe Lincoln had impressed upon the people.
I am bungie jumping next week.

What are you.... to feel that way at the suffering of others? A good penance would be to start your own thread, and justify your mirth.... and enquire as to how much of a joy should one limit oneself to on reading a post from someone on this forum. Go on.
