Ooops. I feel like that grandma who gave a toffee to one child, but just a kiss to the other.

Hahaha! Bad grandma! :smash2:...technically I still have time to edit but it's funny so I'll leave it up. The like and the immediacy of the response fooled me. The name in the quote slipped my notice. My dear friend whom you quoted in your post recently taught me a 7 second rule for moments just like these. :D

In Japanese, there's a word "mottainai" which means "don't waste anything". I took that Japanese gesture to heightened spirit in Indian eating of the banana peel.

That is my toffee, gola. Dare you claim it.

    Weekend!

Butter brioche loaf, slice it, dip in egg and milk mixture, fry fluffy fluffoo, on the side: fruit, honey drizzle, nutty sprinkle, voilà tout, your 1200-calorie breakfast is ready. Rest of the weekend I will regret for such reckless indulgence. But, hey, weekend!

loving the brioche..i love berries but no sweet tooth. maybe a spinkle of herbs and pepper and a bowl of nuts and berries i am in @Iravati.

after the heavy binge on chana sundal and soft idlies and modaks went on a soft kitchdi diet today.

the night dinner was soup. and since i have started saving corn cooked/chana/ lobia or whatever legume drained water (bless aquafaba that started it off for me) i make rasam, soups and more with it.

today the soup had some fresh groundnuts, some very fresh coriander, a small tomato, and the brocolli stem that i reserved with a baby corn pressure cooked in the half stock reserved after making sundal. healthy and filling not thick but a clear veg soup.
