IUI in March - Anyone?

Thank you. I got my AF today Did a natural IUI the first time and now thinking of taking Clomid & Femara for the second. All the very best to you too. Are you currently doing IUI as well?

 

Hi Divya,

Try with clomid and constant moniter by your doc. This increases the chance .
I joined the thread last year ( it's and old thread ) and this year delivered in march . So it's a little special thread . The person who started this thread is also expecting now . Wait for your chance too , it will come for sure .all the best to all the ladies trying .

 

I did my first IUI on 31st March and did hpt on 15th april. It was negative :-( I was disappointed but composed myself quickly to prepare myself for next cycle. I did not have a medicated IUI. I had one natural follicle measuring 22 mm on 12 CD. Doc gave me a trigger shot and IUI was done. I stopped oral progesterone supplements taken during 2ww since i got a bfn after checking with doc. Its been more than 3 days but my af has still not arrived. I wanted to know usually after how many days of stopping progesterone af arrives. The day i stopped medicines, that day i had 2 drops spotting, after dat its been nothing. No other signs and symptoms.

I wish baby busy to all the ladies here and I am keeping all in mind when I pray to God

I just read the entire thread now and it feels like I know you all... Thanks for the suggestions. Being the first time, the doctor didn't medicate me at all since my bloodwork and other parameters were okay but since first one didn't work, I now want to try with Clomid. Started on it today till day 7. Next week (day 12), I have been asked to go in for an ultrasound to measure the size of the folicle(s). Keeping my fingers crossed!

Day 10 today. I took Clomid on days 3-7. But today was very weird, I felt extremely tired and emotional. I am usually an energetic person but today I just couldn't do anything after coming back from work. Somehow I managed to drag the entire day by being at work! I could also feel my body temperature rise few times a day. Took OPT and it was negative. Are there usually any side effects of Clomid after you stop taking them? This is my first cycle. Thanks.

 

Hi Divya...I have heard some ppl have side effects of clomid....Some don't....So it depends on each person I guess.....For me it was constipation...

When I was on clomid...This is my first cycle.... from cd2 to cd6 ...scanning from day cd13.. Ovulated on cd18 on my own without any trigger shot....today m on dpo 8...Think m out of this cycle have tummy and back pain....

Anyways just realax....babydust to u...Hope this cycle works for you...

 

Thanks Bharani, you don't lose heart as well. I've heard that implantation symptoms mimic period symptoms so you may not be out of the game yet. I know it's hard not to be thinking about it but stay positive You'll soon get the good news..
I went for my first ultrasound yesterday on Day 12. Inspite of being on Clomid there was only one dominant follicle on my left ovary measuring 12.3 mm. Doctor said this is a good size for now which should get to the desired size of around 18mm by the time I ovulate. They also checked my E2 and oestrogen levels. Hoping that this one follicle is enough for a successful iui this time. I may ovulate in the next 3-4 days.

 

Don't worry Divya....Ur follicle looks good for day 12....So just relax and go with the flow..

I tested positive on OPT today. Tomorrow is the day of my IUI. Keeping my fingers crossed
