    I have moved to US in September. we are expecting our second child in march.winter is the main problem here.Feeling tough to entertain toddlers in home.you have explained it in a very nice way

    Hello all,

    Sorry that i could not check any messages since i was busy with some personal issues...
    but happy to see that thread is active:cheer:

    about our travel, there was some issue with my husband's paper work and with God's grace everything is done now and he is travelling next weekend 18th feb
    plan is that , Me and my kid will be travelling only after 2 - 3 months :crybaby2:, since i have to wait till my notice period (have not initiated anything from my side since i was in dilemma due to his paper work issues ) is completed and my kid's vaccation starts.

    ladies now i need some help on what all things to be packed from here to US when my hubby is travelling (he s planning to cook himself:eek: )....
    and most importantly what not to take :rolleyes:

    I too had to quit mine in Oct 2015 to come to US and still repenting :(

    I would like to know opinion on switching to F1 from H4.

    Is it possible to get job after completing the course? I am planning to do course related to healthcare analytics.

    hope u read the news about current situation here...even people in india r aware of the situation here...most r saying that new h1s or f1's or recent graduates will have a very tough time finding any job or sponsors in current situation ....most say the situation will be the same for next 4 years !...do u really think u will land a job after graduation when some h1s with even 10 yrs of experience have been laid off !...don't u have a good social circle n don't u discuss amongst your friends !....lots of immigration policy changes are happening and more are expected .......most say becoz the job market is over saturated so lot of lay offs r also hapepning.....!try to read current news and predictions/ trends for next 3-4 years !,

    given so many changes especially related to immigration and many more are expected soon, i don't think it was a wise decision on ur part to leave ur job in India.....n h4 life is very restricted here..u must have read forums ..don't go by what some people just pretend...very few talk about reality or negatives ...h4 life is very restrictive !

    also lots of articles/forum discussions r in place that talk about revoking of the rule regarding h4 ead work might happen sooner than expected !! ..many folks r no longer hiring h4 eads because of the policy changes expected !

    Yes I understand but I left it at a time when rules weren't so strict ,moreover I ddnt have much of a choice then.
    Planning to go back soon. And yes I know nobody hiring much H1 s or H4 EADs as of now and I have no hope to get a job anytime in near future here.
