    No we are going to cook overnight soaked beans with regular salt till soft. Drain and boil the liquid to a thick consistency, as in whisked cream in our summer.( cant get any example closer than that). This liquid is cooled and stored and used as a egg replacer. The waffles and pancakes i see tempt me a lot to try it.

    Maybe will after @Gauri03 tries. I chanced upon this while i was trying to help a friend with a complete vegan menu. She has not tried it. But just like tangzhong wrt bread and baking this has piqued my curiosity.

    Something new to understand. Still curious ..could it be the same enzymes that we are waried off. Will share more as i read and assimilate more. Maybe i should try pancakes, since i don't have a oven here.

    It is thursday so no thaali. For the family it is capscicum carrot sabji, curds and sambhar, podis or whatever they choose to eat

    The red pepper roasted and blended with the tomatoes gives a nice color and volume.

    Expecting some friends over. Just finished a longish cooking stint.
    Menu: Cutlets made from cauliflower rice mixed with mashed potatoes and peas. Some of the mix kept for sandwich toast for tomorrow.
    Brown poha
    Corriander, pudina, ajwain leaves, basil (the last from my garden) chutney with coconut, garlic, tomato, a tbsp of tamarind pulp and green chillies
    Beans veg and veg of red radish with its greens for tomorrow. So I can have some peace tomorrow. Hopefully!

    Too tired to take pics. Will take them later and post. They too will be bringing some stuff over.
