    Hi All,

My post is going to be quite detailed about my IC problem. Hope that is fine with this forum.

I am married for 4 years now. We did not indulge in actual penetrative sex during the initial one year. Later on,in our second year, we wanted to get pregnant and we started to have penetrative sex.

By till now (all these three years of trying), we are only trying but never could achieve penetrative sex. I have seen gync and they did physical examination of me and confirmed there is no problem with me. I was suggested to use lubricant.

We also visited urologist for my husband. All tests have been performed and the dr confirmed he is also fine and fit for penetrative sex.

During our IC, I can feel that I am wet but my DH is not able to penetrate at all. He keeps hitting somewhere (mostly he ends up only inside inner labia). Also, its been hard for him to locate my vagina without my directions. Is this normal ?

Now, as both of us are not medically examined with any problem, but still unable to have proper sex, getting pregnant is way too long for us. You can imagine the pressure from family members and also the peer pressure.

I know this case of us is peculiar. Have anybody have gone through and heard of anything like this. If so, am looking for motivational incidents to keep me going through this.

    Hi @meen16
Good to know you both don't have any medical issues.
My suggestion is why don't you go for IUI...
Since you have normal cycles and husband is also normal, you can try for IUI without any stimulation meds.
In IUI your husband sample will be directly released into your uterus at the right time by follicular scan study, hence you have high chance to get pregnant.

    Cheers & Baby dust! :)

Thnx for ur response. When we visited one of the fertility clinics , they did recommend IUI on our first consultation itself. But I heard that since both of us are not diagnosed with any infertility issues yet, there are chances of multiple pregnancies in IUI and this may affect my health. So, i did not take up that treatment. Also, some doctors just ask us to keep trying to achieve penetration. My husband is also wanting to try natural methods. I really dont know what to decide and how to overcome our problem

    Hello,
I'm also in a same situation. I have been married for 3yrs but no baby. All our results were positive . My DH also couldn't able to do sex. So I'm planning to go for IUI. There s so much pressure from both families. Let's pray God for good things to happen soon

It is indeed true that IUI might lead to multiple pregnancies. It is only when you are stimulated with ovulation/trigger injections or meds, you may produce more than 1 viable eggs.

As you have said you are normal with all parameters, please try asking your doctor/clinic going for IUI without any injections, as IUI will give you maximum reach for the sperms to directly move into your uterus toward the fallopian tubes so chances to get positive result are high.

    Good luck!
