Hi, I am a WFHM. I have 2 DS aged 3.5 and 1.5yrs. Can anyone help me with gud time saving or quick schedule tips. My work hours are flexible and I do not have maid apart from cleaning and utensils. Pls suggest.
Hi Amaya, My first suggestion to you would be to hire a nanny, if feasible. Since you WFH, you can monitor the nanny while she is taking care of your kids. I think your elder DS goes to school, so if you can finish most of your household chores by the time he leaves, you can get 2-3 hours of time to work peacefully while the nanny is handling the younger one. One the elder one comes home in the afternoon, all 3 of your can have lunch together and then may be you can work for 1.5-2 hours when both your kids will be napping. In the evening, you can keep your kids busy with some activities like colouring, painting, rhymes/stories where the nanny will be handling them and may be you can work for another 1-2 hours. If your husband is back home by dinner time, you can ask him to take the kids to bed by 8:30 and then you finish you work and get to bed by 10. I dont know your schedule, so these are just my suggestions, I hope atleast few of them are useful to you
thanks Kavithas. Yes, the suggestions are good indeed, But issue is my MIL is against keeping maids/nanny.
does your mil stay with you? if not get her and show her how much you are struggling with kids and work. if your husband is in your favour, i think you can go ahead
