Hello friends, good to see you all back here after a long time.. everything is going good here with me and my boy. What the school is doing is set a goal in the beginning of the year and I followup with them every month and see how my boy is doing. I do see progress but I dont keep adding inbetween because he already have an very strong and rich IEP. It all depends on what you are focusing on. For eg. he has to follow 2 step direction which means put paper in trash and get the red ball. This means a lot for My Boy. he has to put the trash without any distraction and look for the red ball and give the ball to his aide. he has to do this kind of 2 step direction 5 out 5 trails. I also make sure that he follows with 2 step at home say put your backpack in the room and put the lunch bag in the kitchen. This is again involves so many step it may look only 2 step but for me but its involves many step for him he needs to look for his room and hang his bag in the door knob and take the lunch box put in the sink and keep the lunch bag in the kitchen shelf and come and tell me amma I did it!!! :) so it all depends on what goals we focus for our kiddos. He is doing good with academics too recognizing all letters and spelling 3 letter words like ant bug cat dog...we are still working on it. playing with his brother still have difficulty.. there are whole bunch of things he do at school and at home

it is hard... not so easy but we are all trying hard to our best to make our kids life the best

Hi dearies. How are you all doing??? I am back with full of energy and with good news. My Boy's ABA is going very good. I do see good amount of improvement in all areas. Thinking capacity has increased a lot especially trying to match with his brother. Another hot news is we are moving back to India!! My lovely parents in law having hard time managing everything with age related health issues. So once I moved I will post here monthly status :)

I thought my life journey with My Boy in USA is over.....but we came back!!!

My younger son was unable to and dont know to live without his dad and even though My Boy dont have expressive language, we felt so pity for him and dad decided to bring us back to USA. We decided to handle the situation then and there with my parents in laws. so how was the trip..... It was awesome :) I always love to go to India and I am so attached to my families and I feel lucky to go visit all the temples I want. As usual My Boy went to an ABA center and he was so happy to go there. He was on a routine but with very less services compared to what he was getting here.. Highlight of the India trip was met all families and relatives ,made bunch of new friends , visit temples, celebrate birthday party, everyday meet up with neighbors,.... My Boy loved it!!

I do see lot of small improvements in him like getting more social, wants to use words, getting my attention, being very silly and naughty, better in brushing and bathing, following routine, getting better with tasks etc... overall i am happy for him. Very happy to share here with you all beautiful ladies! Thank you!!

Sweta - Nice to see you here. Welcome back.
I always notice positive changes especially speech wise and socially when we go to India. I'm glad you had a good stay and a very positive experience. It's always nice to be around extended family, relatives etc. That's one of the reasons I plan to take him every year even though the journey is hard on him.

    Keep us posted on school/therapy.

We have started at a private school and continuing ABA and speech. We see some improvement in speech but a ton of improvement in receptive language. He now understands parts of our language too even though we've switched to English completely.

    Keep posting!
