Make it a priority, and don’t make excuses. Write down the top barriers to working out-time, kids, whatever. Also write on cards, strategies for overcoming those barriers. eat 5 – 7 servings of vegetables and fruit, drink 8 to 10 glasses of water as well as to lessen the amount of white flour and sugar consumed per day. The point is not so much what you do as the fact that you – just do it!

    Thanks @sujatha_siva for your warm.
I was not slim before. I was always on the heavier side right from childhood.
Now I feel it is high time and I'm desperately looking for options to reduce my weight.
My son has completed 1 yr now.
Main issue that I'm facing is I get extreme tiredness. Even if I exert a little I get tired very soon.
So little exercise also makes me gasp a lot, feel like its over.
Secondly I'm working, My work hours is from 10.30 ~ 8. Mostly my FIL cooks BF and Lunch (He likes cooking a lot). I help him.
Other than that sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, cloths etc, Im doing them. I mop 2 times a week.
Dinner I cook after reaching home. Commuting is not much, 10 min drive to home.

My daily routine goes like this.
    Wake up - 6AM
Help FIL in kitchen - ~ 7AM (Wash some dishes + cutting veggies etc)
    Feed my son milk
    Give him oil massage
    Clean the rooms, make bed
    Sweep house
    Put cloths in washing machine
    Then give my son bath
Start to gym in my apartment
    30 min treadmill + 30 counts sit up + hipster 100 counts
    Take bath
Have BF + Feed my son BF
Start to office by 10 AM
    Reach home by 8.00PM
    Prepare dinner
Serve everyone (My FIL, MIL , FIL's mother, DH)
Feed my son + have my dinner
Clean kitchen + do the dishes
    Feed milk to my son
    Go to sleep

My IL's are not ready to change the food habits.
So if I have follow some diet, I have to prepare food only for myself.
I don't find much time and energy to do things.
Myself and son not at all having fruits, coz I buy them and stock, when I wish to eat nothing would be there, someone would have finished them :coldsweat::coldsweat:
As my IL's are taking care of my son, I'm not able to comment much on the nutrition & food given to him.
They are hardcore non-vegetarians. Don't prefer vegetables at all. They buy 1/4kg and cook them for 2 days for 5 ppl. Long before my MIL told me to stop buying vegetables. Reason she sighted is no one is eating and so don't waste money and you are wasting vegetables.
This is my situation. Pleas help me with some ideas as to how I can maintain good healthy options of food with these people's mindset.

I can hear you chulbuli- Dont cook anything extra for you. Divide the portionTake a smaller size plate and serve food for yourself. These pointers will really helpful to attain your goal.
    1. Eat 5-6 small meals daily. This ensures that you never get too hungry and overeat. As well, your body knows that there is a steady supply of food coming in. This will help boost your metabolism, which helps burn body fat.
    2. Include protein with every meal(soya beens, egg). This will help to stabilize blood sugar and help to control your appetite.
    3. Lower your intake of starchy carbs, and eat more fibrous carbs. Steer clear of refined sugar. Never drink your calories. So stay away from soda pop, and choose whole fruit over fruit juice.

    Hi all
Today i am feeling somewhat better. While coming home from work, instead of taking cab like daily, today walked to busstop which is 1 mile away. Then got down at my stop and again walked a mile to my home. After coming home, my parents were going to veg market. So accompanied them again. 2 miles walk there. Total 4 miles walk. This i have done after so long.
    Food wise-
Presently staying at moms place for a month. Mom is literally stuffing me with food as i was not well since few days. Have to be strict from tomorrow.
    Today's food-
    Bf- upma, tomato chutney
    Lunch- aloo bath
Evening snack 1- sakinalu - 5 with tomato chutney
Snack 2- bhel puri at veg market
    Payasam ( todays naivedyam)
Dinner- 1/2 jowar roti, 1/2 cup leftover upma, 1/2 cup rice, capsicum curry, dal, kadhi
I know its a lot. Will try to limit from tomorrow.I will post here daily, so that someone will motivate me if am slacking .
    Hey chulbul
I know I should not be advising right now considering my food intake ,
But i can give you 1 idea--
Why not buy vegetables like carrots, cucumber and lettuce , and make salad instead of curries. Let your inlaws make non veg curries. You also can have some amount of that curry and then have veggie salad which you can make for yourself. If you are busy, you can cut those veggies on sunday and store them in fridge. As soon as you come home, just toss them with dressing ( olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, cumin n chilli powder) and have it .
