I think this year the theme at golden globes is plunging necklines.
Of course Priyanka would do whatever her team tells her to fit in.
Beyonces dances like half naked at Super Bowl half time which is watched by kids. Don't know why they do it. I know even Americsns criticize that.

They pretend to be very confident and strong women by not feeling awkward like normal woman while wearing something revealing like this.
They are not ashamed of their own body, and not bothered much about the comments that others may pass on their dressing style.
Their confident level is showing up while they comfortably walk in the red carpet apart from all the usual hiccups a female body and mind would go through while wearing something like this.

Although, the choice of dress or the style may not be in their hands, they know how their dress would look like before it is made or worn. They know how much revealing it would be, and how much is OK for them to wear. With their consent only, they are wearing these cloths.
So, there is absolutely no force.

Being glamorous is a fashion, it is a trend among celebrities. But how confident they are about their choice of being glamour is what makes them strong women.

Well, normal women don't attend such events. And these celebrity/public personality women, when they go about more daily life such as going to kid's school or running errands must be dressed suitably for that, though very stylishly and expensively.

I still don't get it. Why is revealing breasts considered normal or even required at the same place where they often give speeches about women not to be treated as sex objects. I can't figure out how the interviewers or others stand in front of them and talk to them without really looking at what was meant to be looked at. Politeness dictates that one should pretend the visible is not visible.

Maybe I am simply turning into my mother. : )

    It depends...

For you revealing breasts is something to be considered as sexual attraction. For some others, revealing your face, body shape, hands etc are to be considered as sexual attraction. That's why some women wear burka.
I've heard from the men and women, who support wearing burka that it is impossible to talk or interact with women who wear normal dresses (like us) without really looking at what was meant to be looked at.
Eg: if you wear saree, then they would look at your mid part, breast shape from the side etc...
But I think it is all about your mind.

For normal people like us, a halfly revealed breast is a shock. But for the celebrities who walk in the red carpet along with other celebrities who are almost half naked, it is just an attire.
Even the media persons or the others won't mind it. Just like how we don't mind about the women in saree.
However, in Afghanistan, men would scan you with their eyes, if you happen to wear a fully covered jeans and Ts.
    (My personal experience)

What you say is true Rihana. I don't really understand it either. Honestly, i thought Priyanka looked so trashy and so in your face. Elegance is highly underrated.

    Regarding space....
    Who gets more space?
The high maintenance she or the low maintenance she.

The high maintenance she's 30 pairs of shoes are pushing out the low maintenance she's 3 pairs out from the racks and the LM she doesn't seem to mind but mumma-she thinks LMS is becoming a pushover and HMS is becoming a rack bully.

This is typical double standards by some celebrities, who ostensibly, fight for women's rights !

I appreciate your courage and honesty in calling a Spade as Spade ! @Rihana
