Dear dear Sk akka.....I was waiting to see your feedback here....Thankyou so much for dropping in and for the sweet words...Had issues with my internet and hence the absence...true akka, and having three grandmas is a blessing....even though two of them left us , their impactful lifestyle...their active and enthusiastic way of facing life despite any inconvniences....keep amazing me and inspiring me as an adult....long way to go....their days would start early morning...each with their routine, their friends circle and me time....yes, they did have their me time then too....Peria patty with her books....maternal grandma with her crafts....all inspite of a hectic lifestyle, no appliances lot of rituals to follow and a big joint family with frequent guests....

    Dear Bhargavi,

I have given a detailed response in the FP section for this snippet of yours. I consider every one of your posts as an expression of how much you enjoy life as it comes. You have a natural tendency to not only be grateful for life but also utilize its full potential.

    Dear Viswa Sir,
    Best regards.
Thankyou so much for your kind words Sir....long way to go Sir, just reached the stage where I understand that there is no hurry and trying to be in the present...atleast a few times a day I am reminded to cherish the present, thanks to the environment I live and my lifestyle....thanking almighty for that Sir...I keep humming this hymn we used to sing at school...
    Chorus:
    He's still working on me
To make me what I need to be
It took him just a week to make the moon and stars
The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars
How loving and patient He must be
'Cause He's still workin' on me

    Repeat Chorus

There really ought to be a sign upon my heart
Don't judge him yet, there's an unfinished part
But I'll be better just according to His plan
Fashioned by the Master's loving hands

    Repeat Chorus

In the mirror of His word
    Reflections that I see
Makes me wonder why He never gave up on me
But He loves me as I am and helps me when I pray
Remember He's the potter; I'm the clay

    Thanks again Sir...

    Dear Bargs,
Your snippet brought me back here thanks to Vijima.
It has been such a pleasure and I traveled you and experienced whatever you did with your splendid, soothing narration. the comparison of moon's reflection on the stream and pond with your grandmas who are siblings, just too good.

Bhargavi dear I am here again, that day I could not write much as I was busy in making chains. So I just gave one line feedback and went and nominated and was so happy that you got an award too. Congratulations again.

Glad you had 3 grandmas all inspiring, active, interesting in crafts and other things and motivating. No doubt thats why you are also so talented . Sorry to know about the death of your grandma recently . May her soul rest in peace . She will be always blessing you and guiding you.

Your post about grandma brought me memories of my grandma, my mother's mother who was also very active, expert in cooking, independent etc. Since she did not have a son she stayed with us. She only used to do the cooking, that too by 7 a.m. everything will be ready. I could have learnt about cooking from her but that time I was not interested in cooking , interested in going out and enjoying life. My mother used to assist her so I did not have any work in the kitchen. Also my elder sister was there to help. Whenever we have to go out I used to take permission from my grandma as my sister was scared to ask her and she was not much interested too. Those days girls were not allowed to go out after 6 pm. My mother was very attached to my grandma and never allow her togo anywhere else.

My grandma was expert in making kai murukku and people used to call her to make and she used to go alone to their houses. Also she used to go and buy vegetables , though she did not know Hindi she used to speak in tamil and manage to buy the vegetables. For my sister's marriage she brought all the steel vessels by giving old clothes . Those days rice has to be cleaned and she used to do that in her free time. Also for the marriage to go smootly she prayed to Lord Vinayaka that she will offer 1008 kozakattai . After marriage she fulfilled that wish and the marriage was also success. On her last days she suffered from cancer and since I was not married took care of her and she told me I may not be there during your marriage so you pray for yourself and youw ill be blessed with a good husband . She was not there for my marriage but her blessings were there and I got a husband from her place only and a gem of a husband he is.
