    Beautiful narration. You have very well articulated the identity crisis of an adopted teenager. With gender discrimination atleast Anitha had a chance to live and grow up in a safe loving environment. In south indian villages kalli paal - cactus plant extract was used for female infanticide. Sensitive subject well presented

    So true jskls. It is better if people who do not want girls give them up for adoption to people who want one with all their hearts instead of killing them.

    Wonderful narration... short and crisp but brings out all the emotions
    ... like someone else even I was wondering if there were some more parts.... adoption is very close to my heart..... wanted to adopt but my husband had opposite views.... so had to abandon my wishes... for me it kindled a lot of emotions. ....
