    Hi All,

I have vomtings and nausea back again in my third trimister. So doctor suggested for few blood tests to check for any infections. The blood report says I have high white blood cells count. my gynec suggested to meet hemotologist and I have taken appointment for this week.

Anyone here with this experience. Please let me know.

    Hi Ampu...

Sorry to hear about your condition. I am not sure how high white blood cells effect on the pregnancy. Is it common in pregnancy? Can you please explain about this condition.

Hope you feel better. Have a safe pregnancy.

    Hi Amicable,

To an extend the count increases for few pregnant women itseems. We should be concerned only if its too high. The count increases if our body is fighting against any anti bodies which the body cannot resist.

Eating only the food which suits us and keeping clean without any infections to occur is main for this. I am also not aware much of this have doctor appointment soon will update once I complete it.

How are your days going on ? My parents will be coming the weekend. I think even your mother is coming to help you out right. In one of your post...you wrote the doctor said you might deliver a week or two ahead. So did they tell you any new due date?
And I hear from many friends that we should be ready for delivery after 37th week anytime. Is that true?

How is your preparation for the D day going on ? Take care keep posted.

Is it related something to MVC value ?
I remember I had high white blood cells and they asked me to do a further blood work to make sure its not a case of Thalesmia(sp).I also was throwing up through out my pregnancy.By God's grace everything was fine at the end.

    Thanks

    Hi Ampu...

Thank you for explaing the high white blood cell effect. Wow....your parents coming this weekend. Mine coming in second week of August. Which now I regret. Wish I have invited her earlier. Because my baby is measuring little big, I am 35 w and 4 days today. My doctor assume baby might come week or two week early. Since I got diagnosed with GD, so the chances are more. But you never know. And you heard it right after 37 week...it can be any moment. Its very rare women deliver on their exact due date.

I am going to see my doctor every week from this friday now on. And I think she might check my cervix and will do Strep-B test. Just thinking of that making me nervous. I don't like going through this. But thinking of labor in front of strange nurses and doctor...gosh. I hope my doctor will be on duty that day.

Hopefully your appointment with doctor will go well. Let us know about the further results.

    Hi Ampu...

How are you doing? I hope your parents are here already. I am still waiting mine in the mid of august :( and I have chances of delivering early, god knows.

How did your appointment go with hemotologist and what did he say? Hope you are feeling better. Please update.

I got my Strep-B test done, which came negtive, so thats good, but I have UTI and now another medicine. I am still taking care of my diet due to GD, but they havn't put me on any medicine.

I had my ultrasound on monday. Baby is already 7 lbs. So they are predicting he might get 8-9 lbs by my due date. So lets see if they induce me early or suggest C-section if I am not able to push. 3 more weeks left almost, I am so ready for him now.

    Take care.

    Hi Amicable,

Me doing good....my parents are here and are getting used to climate and surroundings too. I felt very good that i called them a bit early. Its really hard if they come at the last moment. But its ok hope you will be able to manage till your mother comes.

Was busy for the last few days as we were shifting house and because of my parents arrival. Could not get the hemotologist appointment yet. Mostly it will be next week. I have my normal doctor appointment on monday.

Hope you will manage with your diet...your diet will impact your baby weight right. I wish everything will go well with you. My legs are swelling these days thats the only diff which I observed. Lets see how we all will do for the D day.

And hey its true as we are at the end the excitement is increasing and I am also wishing the day too come soon....:):)

    Take care and keep updated/

    Hi ampu..

Good to hear from you. I am glad your parents are here and they are getting used to the soroundings. Chicago weather must be nice these days. Have you moved to different city or just in some other area? I hate moving and in pregnancy..NO WAY. I am so proud of you moved during your last trimester. I have two more weeks left before my mom come. I am doing whatever is possible so far. Good thing my husband is very cooperative (touchwood). He doesn't care if I am not able to cook, he will get food from outside. Which makes my job easy.

My doctor is going on vacation from 16th. My due date is Aug. 25th though. Starting 37 week from sunday. My doctor is 75% sure I might deliever before she leaves. Now, this is making me little nervous. Because first of all I prefer female doctor during my labor plus I am so comfortble with her now I don't want any other doctor touch me there. Well...why doctors go on vacation ...(joking). I am still taking care of my diet but no medicine. Baby was 7 lbs last week, so he must have got some more fat by now.

Hopefully, your appointment with hemotologist will go well. Take care .

    Hi Amicable,

I wish your delivery will be after your mom arrives. Good to hear that you are taking care of your diet. Having mom around me is making easy for me to take rest and enjoy food.My vomtings are also in control now. With regard to moving the house it wasnt much hard as my husband took care of everything and I commented him saying I wish I am pregnant when ever we are shifting so that I need not do any packing unpacking work :):) We moved in the same city and the plus part is now my hospital is just 10 to 12 min drive distance.

Today I had my regular doctor appointment and she says everything is fine...baby growth is good itseems. she said the baby is around 7lbs so its a good size baby..but for me there is no change in due date. And she checked internally and said I am 1 cm diallated so far. And when I asked her she said we should be 10 cm diallated to go into labour. My weight gain is also good now I am 172 lbs.

I have next visit next week. Keep updating how things are with you too..Wish you good luck
