I am a regular reader of this forum. For a very long time I have not seen anyone writing about their pets. It a great joy for us to have pets and love them like our children. So thought would share with you all the pranks that my pets do. Everyone could also share theirs. Well, I have 2 poms called Ronnie and Kelly. Ronnie is the male and Kelly the female. During the day they are alone at home as both of us go to work. Initially my daughter use to come home by 3 or 3.30 and now she is married and in another city. So my little ones are very excited and happy to see me come home. They know the timing perfectly well. I stay in an apartment on the first floor. The minute I enter the gate somehow they know I am back and will wait by the door. They start dancing and screaming and the entire neighborhood knows of my return. I sit on the floor so that I can pet them. Now Ronnie wants to be the first one to be touched and Kelly also wants similar attention. Ronnie keeps pushing Kelly away from me. The minute I sit, she will run to the door and bark her head off. Poor Ronnie thinks someone is at the door and will run to the door. Immediately, Kelly with come back to me and sit on my lap, not allowing any space for Ronnie near me. No matter how many times it happens poor Ronnie always gets fooled. Hi @umaakumar Wow! You have 2 poms.lovely.happy to hear about your poms pranks.I too love pets so much but some reasons I don't have any pet. if you don't have any objection can you post your pets images please?
Hi I am not an animal lover , just animal tolerator. The rest of my family - husband, kids, grand kids all love dogs and we have always have dogs in the house. They all had distinct personalities and traits. Right now we have a black Lhasa Apso called Cherry. She can walk on her hind legs for quite sometime. She LOVES vegetables , specially boiled potatoes and most fruits especially oranges. Whenever someone peels an orange she will emerge even from deep slumber. She looks on to my DIL as her mom and has sibling rivalry with my grandson. If my DIL caresses her son, she will growl and nudge him away. BUT if anyone else even pretend to beat him she will jump to his defense. Though she is hairy Tibetan dog, she feels cold in Mumbai winter. I have knitted her own sweater. She understands a lot and conveys her demands too. Tried to attach photos but could not do so.
Hi Uma & Shoba....wonderful reading about your pet doggies Any pictures will be most welcome Please do post some pics. You can post them in the thread 'Join the Club ....Membership free" ...there are many pets pics there or you can start your own thread and write more about all the pranks of your dear pets.
Dear Paulina, Thanks for you reply. I have posted photos of my pets on the join the club membership free. This was a long time back. I will post latest photos shortly Regards Uma
Dear Shobamma, So nice to hear about your Cherry. Dogs are adorable. My Kelly too feels very cold in winter months. She cuddles up on a sofa and sleeps inside our blanket during nights. Ronnie is very possessive and does not like me talking to anyone. He will snarl at them if they come close, my husband and daughter included. Regards Uma
