    Hi Friends,
    How are you all doing?
    Ruby, how is your journey going on?
    Manali... I can see new new dishes coming up on fb! But did n't get a chance to go to your blog in a while! Happy cooking!:)

    My kids and husband are big fan of my cooking.Of course friends too... at one point, my hubby insisted me to open a small restaurant or home mess when we were in New Jersy. I strictly said no, because I get so tired after standing for hours in the day time every day and also said, not ready to start a cooking business at this point. I was not ready and I am not ready even today. still...my hubby says the same when ever we go to a restaurant,especially if the food we try is not good!
    Above all, the honest reason might be....I end up in tasting,tasting and tasting... breathing the flavors and yummm foods.... I will be in 170 pounds today if I chose to open a messgigglingsmiley
    Basically, I am scared to take care of my body, when I decides to take care of other people's hunger!
    Infact I just cook basic south Indian,north Indian,Italian and chinese...
    Not at all good at baking and stuffs....So many trials ended up in utter flap!
    Look at you!

    You are super dooper slim, even when you bake almost most days of the week and eat them too....
    Not kidding dear...Its just a blessing and keep enjoy what you love to do!

    Though I love to cook, I restrict my creativity with in family , and some times just expand in friend's circle at some gatherings...That's enough for me.

    This holiday season, I am going to hunt your blog for some good learning at baking sections...my brother's family is staying here for a week this christmas time with his kid. Atleast I want to bake some goodies for the kids in my near family. Let me tell you once I get success...

    I will literally follow what you mention there... like a blind friend. guide me if help needed dear...

    Dec 1- mon- gym-500 calories
    Dec 2-Tue-gym- 600 calories
    Dec 3-wed- rest day
    Dec 4- Thu-Four mile walk at home
    Dec 5- Fri- Rest day- no time,so considering as second day to rest.
    Dec 6-Sat- 75 mins of group fitness challenge workouts

    Today morning I attended a free trial challenge workout class with 6 instructors rounding up on circuits to squeeze us! Fun to the gun!
    Enjoyed the most of the energy there! [​IMG]
    Glad that I made it possible till the end!

    I'm sure you are an excellent cook and that's why I believe that you can totally ace baking too... please let me know if you need any help of any kind.. I will be so happy to help you dear! :)

    The restaurant business...ahh I can imagine..it's not easy..it's a lot of work Sri...in fact now that my blog has picked up a bit..even that's a lot of work for me...but yeah if you are passionate about what you are doing..then it makes everything a little easier... even I have plans to open up my own bakery someday..let's see if that dream will ever come true.. :)

    actually I don't eat all that I bake Sri... I keep a check on the amount..I can put on weight easily if I keep eating everything....my husband is one who is blessed..he will not put on even 500 gms no matter what he eats in whatever quantity! I only taste little [of course some times it's more than little ;) ] and share the rest. So that's how I control myself..plus if you bake literally everyday you develop a sort of control I guess..lol

    Anyway good luck with your holiday baking! I am sure you will be able to bake some awesome stuff..please let me know if you need any help! xx

    My First post in 2015:

    Jan 1- 136 pounds
    Jan target- 130 pounds

    My new journey started from Jan 3.

    Jan 3- sat- 1 hr yoga, 2 mile walk
    Jan 4- sun-30 mins floor workout, 2 mile walk.

    13th Jan

    - 3 miles LS walk with weights
    - 30 minutes abs workout [a gym class called Six Pack Attack]..super challenging but fun!
