For someone as lazzzy as me recipes which take a very long time is a strict no-no, trust me I would not even 've tried it had it been like clay bailing lolzz. My mantra when it comes to cooking is “easy to make and healthy to eat”.
So here’s my 5min healthy recipe for Ginger Bread…brace up!!
    Ingredients:
All purpose flour - 2 cups
    Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 6-7 Tablespoons or 150gms of butter ( I used olive oil because remember I am healthy food supporter :coffee )
    Egg - 1
Ginger powder - 1 tablespoon (you can increase the quantity slightly if you like the flavor)
Sugar (powdered brown sugar) - 1 cup
    Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
How to go about it :
    1) Sieve the all purpose flour, baking powder and ginger powder and keep it aside.
    2) Add oil to this mixture and mix it till it resembles small bread crumbles.
    3) Beat the egg and mix it with the mixture. And also add the vanilla essence.
    4) Knead with your hands or in your food processor till it becomes soft and smooth. At this point if it appears to be very dry then you can add a tablespoon of milk or water.
5)Now put the dough in the refrigerator wrapped in a thin cling wrap, for about 30 mins.
    6) Take out the dough and roll it out with a roller pin (keep the thickness to about 5 mm). I used my small cookie cutter to get different shapes.I kept the sizes small for my lil son who prefers to eat as he walks around. And also you can come up with any design. But do take care that the thicker pieces will take longer to bake. :)
    7) Put the shapes in a baking tray and keep it for baking for about 10-15 mins in a pre-heated oven at a temperature of 180 degrees.Do keep a watch over the color as smaller shapes of ginger bread would get baked sooner than the bigger ones.
    8) Tadaa!! The ginger bread is ready to serve. You can always put some m&m or icing over it to make it look better.
I call it a 5 min recipe because it takes just 5mins to get the things done (excluding the refrigeration and baking time of course!!).
Hope you liked my simple and easy recipe. Dont forget to give me your feedback here.
