    Few tips my doctor suggested for breath control so that it would be easy during delivery..

    daily blow some 10 ballons.. or crush a mineral water bottle and blow it out to make it back again to normal shape..chant ohm and hold the breath as possible as you can.. I am lazy in doing in this ;)

    also drinking jeera water ( some suggest with butter dissolved in it ) will make pelvic to lighten and baby will be head down.. but as of my understanding it is good for digestion as we may not get food easily digested these days..

    @Redruby,

    gud that u r dilating. try not to induce labor as i heard in the birthing class that inducing labor will end up in c-section most of the times. so talk to u doc before any artificial induction until theres any medical reason. u can wail till 42weeks and if nothing happens then may be go for it. i hope u will have ur baby naturally by then. all the very best.

    @vasumathy

    how r u?how did ur test go? all the best and take care.

    @uniquebee

    welcome back to the group. keep posting ur updates when ever u get time and do let us know when ur baby enters the world.

    my updates:

    Weekend was busy.weather was really hot, felt like summer but again today its like fall again. have to use a light jacket when going out. next week is my baby shower and DH is planning a grand event so went to order food and cake this weekend. will update about the baby shower next monday. I got my weekly checkup again on tuesday. this week i am surely gonna have a internal checkup and i am tensed if it would be painful. doc is also going to check for the baby's position, if she is not able to know then i will have an US. but she thinks baby is head down from external examining. i bought 2 nursing bras yesterday. they where so comfortable i am planning to wear then even before the baby. i will wash and see the quality of the cloth and then may get a few more. but how to feed the baby when outside that to wearing a salwar. i think i will pump and feed the baby using a bottle if at all i go out.

    Nisitha,

    Dont worry about internal exam.. Even my legs were shaking when she was putting her one finger inside...:) but she said pelvic bone and fine. If pelvic bone are small size then they will know and they will plan c-section. But my pelvic assessment went fine. Nursing bras? How is it? zip on both sides? i got maternity panties. they r large and very confortable. But i dint buy bras since i thought it wil waste. Howeveer u have to remove it for feeding...

    gud that ur internal exam went well. u dont have to remove the whole bra for feeding. u just have a clip that attaches the cups just have to remove that and feed the baby. i dint buy any maternity panties, is that a must to buy them. how do i choose which size fits me without trying it on.

    Maternity panties can be tried above your pants:) they are large... Usually M size fits all.. And there is L size also. if they dont allow you for trial then just pick it up by guess... Follow the below link....

    heard that discharge will be more during pregnancy and it increases at the end. try using panty liners. yeah even for me its the same so i use liners for hygiene purpose.

    Hi Ladies, i had a bit of white discharge as well, doctor checked and said its normal (unless its an infection).

    @Nistha: The doc in the practice said outer cervix was dilated a bit but two docs later in hospital saying this is not the case :( dont know they confuse me so much... everyone says something different.. today was told again that no labour signs at all, no contractions no dilation nothing..... glad your examination went well :)

    @Priya: I totally agree with Nistha, i have nursing bras too and already wear them as my size already changed and i had to get new bras anywhays. They have a clip in the front above the breast so i can just open the outer part of the bra in front of the breast which makes it more easy and comfortable to breastfeed :) but i still wear normal panties.

    My own updates: The doc last friday said outer cercix was dilated but today they told it isnt really and no labour signs at all, but i shouldnt get stressed as its lots of amniotic fluid there and placenta looks still really good... think lil lazy one just feels too comforatble in there... she is going to be an august child... doc said baby has tummy full of amniotic fluid seems she just drank some :) they didnt meassured weight again so last information is 3.7 kg from monday (must be still same) doc tried sweeping / stripping membranes which means she tried to tease the membranes away from the edge of the cercix. The strip of the membrane was first tried last friday, doc told its dilated to she could go through with one finger and told she did it (was painfull). Monday doc on hospital told she cannot do it like friday doc had suggested as inner cervix is still closed..... today doc said its still somehow closed without any signs of soon to start labour but she tried.. which hurt a lot.. i could hardly breath when she tried to put her finger through the closed cervix and stripped the membrane.. she reminded me to breath and told she can stop if i cant bear anymore, i said its ok i can bear it... afterwards i saw the blood from the hurt cells.. im still bleeding and it pains a bit but i dont think it will really cause any contractions... guess i still have to wait. Next check up is friday. Docs confusing me.. in between i was so frustratet as it seems every doctor says something different and i can just choose like a kid in candy shop without ever knowing whats really good for baby and me.

    One more really stupid question.
    I thought we have to take birthtime the moment the head is out, but now heard that we are supposed to take it when full baby is out... so wha is it now? How did you take birthtime? It should be quite accurate as its used for horoscope
