Review - Dr. Sarita Kapoor

i had a terrible experience with dr. Sarita kapoor in getwell medical. she is so money oriented. without any reason she does ultrasound, no matter u need it or not and she will not tell u why she is doing it. but charge u 300 aed everytime for the scan. i was going to her for last 3 months. i had a misscarriage and i want to make sure of everything before next time i conceive. she did all my tests and said everything is normal but still every 3rd or 4th day she tells me to visit her and everytime she does an ultrasound which charges me a 300dirham for no reason. last 3 months i did 7 ultra sounds and according to her i dont have any problems and my ovulation is also normal. still she is telling me not to conceive this month. neither she telling me that i have any problem nor she is doing any treatment or putting me on any medication. all i can say doing ultrasound and several expensive tests is just a business for her and she does not care for the patients at all.

 

very much agree with neonika!!!...... i too had a terrible experience with Dr.Sarita kapoor at getwell i was going to her a couple of years back. Guess she is great in her field but is very money oriented, rude!! she wld do my ultrasounds with no reasons, whether required or not n will not tell us why she is doing it. but charge us 300 aed everytime for the scan. she did all my tests n found nothing abnormal but still every cycle she wanted me to visit her and everytime she did an ultrasound on some 1st 4days n then some 9th, 11th etc days which cost me a 300dhs each time!!... not enough i had to pay thru my nose for those tests took. inspite of everything being normal she put me on hotmonal drugs, ivs. lost the count on ultra sounds tat she did and as months passed by when i started asking her y ??? she wld get irritated n wld give some silly reasons like late ovulation, late rapture not to forget she was tracking these n telling wen me to ttc !!!!. yep its just a business for her and does not care for patients who literally look up to her.

 

hi, just was viewing this post, thought of putting down my experience as well.

Last year july 2012 i had visited dr sarita kapoor @getwell clinic @ burdubai for the first time for consultation,
i was given an appointment on one saturday. i waited for around 4 hours even after being given the appointment time.
sicne it was after 4 years of marriage that we had gone to get consulted, she was so rudely talking to me and my husband about y we delayed the consultation till now.
And after doing the scanning she informed us that there was some problem with the my ovolution and i need to undergo medications and some tests. But when we asked her what was the problem with me, she was not ready to tell us but was telling us that i need to undergo further tests. i did undergo some blood tests, wherein they charged us 500 dhs and then informd that i have to go for treatment next month onwards. i thought something was wrong here.

however i did not go back to her , since i was getting negative vibes about this. in the meanwhile i had gone to mumbai for vacation and my mother suggested that i consult one of the doctors there in mumbai and he informed me that there is no problem with my ovolution- only that my ovolution is delayed and it happens little late every month and this is depending upon each individual and there is no need to take any medications.

my concern is why did this lady doctor in dubai suggest medicines and further tests and was not willing to inform me the problem as to why i need to for medications. is this the only way to mint money out of people.

Even i had a terrible experience with her..First time when i went to her she was in a very bad mood & without asking anything to me just checked me & that too so harshly...she just said i had weak eggs...that disheartened me to the core & i literally cried after meeting her..Still like a fool i went to her hoping that she will treat me for my problem,my only problem was ovulation & for that she first gave me Clomid on which i hyperstimulated & doc asked me to avoid pregnancy for that month.
Next month she gave me Femara & was practically visiting her every week but nothing happened even after going through that treatment.
Its such a waste of time & very sad that such doctors exist as we we give them place next to God.

 

I completely agree with U. She might have done an outstanding job earlier may be 10 years ago. But now, shez so money minded. Gives importance and respect to you only if u pay well. She cudn't even diagnoise my report. My problem has been aggravated coz of her bad diagnosis.I seriously repent the tym, money and energy I had wasted.I advise you to be careful . My rating is a big zero.

 

Hi i totally disagree to this statement.During my pregnancy i have visited her after my 4 months of pregnancy till date i was showing to another reputed gynecologist and in the first scan itself she found some abnormality and i have gone to another radiologist and confirmed the same abnormality and as per my opinion she is so great and she helped me a lot to over come all the issues till last,even if in india also even in night times also she supported me and now i am in my 2nd pregnancy i am with her ,she is so understanding and caring gynecologist as far as i know her she is the best .

 

It's my personal opinion & don't know about others.

She is the worst Gyno I have ever seen in my life, she is very rude & treat patients like animals.

She did ultra sound scan for my wife two times & told us that my wife is having sis tumor cells & she has to go through operation if it is not cured by medicine. Since I had a doubt on her wording, I cross checked with other Gyni at Badr Al Shama & they confirmed that she is not having any sis tumor cell & she is normal.

May be she wants to make money by misguiding us but she is not human being & should be punished under law for misguiding/fooling people.

I pray that her clinic should get closed soon.

 

Just thought to share my experience as well. As its not only waste of money but more importantly she plays with your emotions. I would say A BIG NO to Dr Sarita. I was with her for one whole year and did every thing as per her instructions but every time she starts to blame my hormones and that nothing can be done for us. She is so rude and not a good dr at all.
We too paid lot to her but all in vein.
I would warn everyone to think thousand times before going to her. She will drain all your money and make fun of your emotions.

I had a bad experience with Dr sarita she just wanted to loot patient. On every visit she used to charge 700 by simply doing scans in other hospitals thy do scan in consultation charges only and great thing is in scan she will simply ask ashok kapoor also to check heart as he is cardiologist and she will charge 900 separate for ashok kapoor and 900 separate for her. Too much she loot. Better go to zulekha instead of Dr sarita.

 

I had a bad experience with Dr Sarita Kapoor. Also the medication the prescribed were harsh and I was advised by another doctor to stop the medication immediately. If you are seeing this Dr. Please get a second opinion. She seems to have lost interest in her medical practice and now focused on making money.
