Are there veg momos too? How are they? I've tried chicken momos and they were yummy. But I've turned vegetarian after marriage. Thats why asking...
Veg momos are very common in North. We get Veg & Non- veg momom from the same place Its good, although non-veg people dislike veg momos as they find it comparatively bland. But as for me, i've tried both and till now, eat both with equal liking..!! There are fried momos also, although i've not tried yet..!!
My most favorite street food corners/joints are: 1. In Mumbai - Khau galli at Bhuleshwar, 2. In Delhi - Chhole Bhature and Kulfi at Roshan di Hatti 3. In Haridwar - Kachori Aloo in a lane near Gau Ghat 4. In Rishikesh - a small dingy teashop selling awesome pakodas near Ram Jhula Taxi stand
Some of the trains on Mumbai-Goa route sell veg cutlets, vada paav and one fried banana sweet pakoda. They are also awesome. There is not a guarantee that we will get it each time or on every train, but still, when they do sell, its yummy. Does anyone else have any favorite train food?
