Dear Keerthi, I also previously ran beauty parlour in my home itself. completely alloted a room by doing pakka interior for parlour. i ran very much successfully and earned well. But there are advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: We can do our own works if customers are not there. during rainy season there wont be much business. we cant earn much but still we need not worry because we are not going to pay any rent only the investment we put to run the business. we can take back the money within few months if there is real demand in your area. Disadvantages: The customer will pass thru the house to go into the parlour. If you can provide a separate entrance means that will be too better. otherwise they will keep their eyes roaming around the house. Even if we curtail them, they will keep on asking about your personal things. Even if you are sick, they will make you to work. In my case, they used to ring my house even after 10pm by saying that they have to go out of station and will ask to do eyebrow tweesing or facial at that time. If you have any other members in your family to share your personal works means then well and good. In my case, i have to do all the works as i dont have any other woman in my house. If you can manage all these things means its really good to run at home. Best of luck latha
