A) Admission to Pre-K.G. for Academic Year 2013-14
 The ‘Application form’ (pdf format) can be downloaded from 09.00 a.m. on 25.12.2012 (Tuesday) to 09.00 a.m. on 26.12.12 (Wednesday).
 Those who are residing within the radius of 3kms alone are eligible to apply.
Total No. of Seats available: 200
Reserved for Siblings, Staff wards and Alumni Quota : 75
Seats available under RTE : 50 (those who are residing within 1 Km radius need to apply)
Balance seats available for General public : 75
 Filled in Application Forms should be submitted on 2nd January , 2013 between 10.00 a.m. - 02.00 p.m. at D.A.V. Public School, 19, Sitaram Nagar, Velachery, Chennai – 42 with all enclosures.
 Forms which are incomplete and those form with which the required documents are not enclosed , will not be considered for admission.
 Age criteria for Pre.K.G. : 2yrs and 6 months completed as on 31st May , 2013.
 Probable date of fee payment on 23.01.2013 (Wednesday).
B) Admission to L.K.G – Std. IX for Academic Year 2013-14
There are no seats available for classes I – IX but due to parents transfer out of Chennai, very few vacancies may arise and if felt necessary, School may offer these seats for new admission.
1. The ‘Information Sheet’ (pdf format) can be downloaded from 09.00 a.m. on 28.12.2012 (Friday) to 09.00 a.m. on 29.12.12 (Saturday)
2. Those who are residing within the radius of 3kms alone are eligible to apply.
 Filled in Information Sheet should be submitted on 5th January , 2013 between 10.00 a.m. – 12 noon at D.A.V. Public School, 19, Sitaram Nagar, Velachery, Chennai – 42 with all enclosures.
 Admissions will depend on the number of vacancies in a particular section which is based on the 2nd and 3rd Language of the student.
 Admission will be made through an entrance test. Date of Entrance test will be notified.
 Entrance test will be conducted for classes U.K.G. onwards in English, Mathematics and II Language and admission will be granted on merit.
 The decision in this regard will be taken in the 2nd or 3rd week of Feb. 2013.
C) Details of Admission to Std. XI will be notified later.

LKG: Application forms: 17/01/2013 (Thursday) & 18/01/2013 (Friday) 9.30 am to 1.00 pm.
The documents to be brought along are : 1. Copy of Birth certificate. 2. Copy of address proof. 3. Copy of community Certificate (if applicable). Student must have completed 3 years on March 31st 2013. Forms to be returned to the school by 22/01/2013 - 3.00pm.

UKG to Class 9: Registration Forms: (NO VACANCY IN CLASS 2): 21/01/2013: 9.30 to 1.00 pm. Forms cannot be taken out of the school. Must be dropped into the Drop box on the same day.

Class 10: Only CBSE students may apply with copy of Class 9 report card & CBSE Registration number.
All forms will be given FREE OF COST.

Preferential Admission for Estancia residents.
