Infertility and PCOS

Hi friends,

Here i have a question regarding Ramdev Baba Ayurvedic Medicines For "Infertility Package".Actually Its been 6years and I did every Poojas and medical treatment but no getting child.Last month I went to India For IUI but that treatment was unsuccessful. Dr.told me that I have PCOS that is why i am not ovulating normally.Then we came back to USA,here the treatment is very costly. so I didnt went for treatment.MIL is started taunting me and ready to adopt a child,but I want my own child,Then I heard about Ramdev's Ayurvedic medicine package name is "Infertility Package".1)I just wanted to know does this medicine helps in getting pregnant or no?
2)Does it increase the body weight actually by taking many medicines my weight is already increased by 68 kgs.So please help me.

I honestly believe going to a fertility specialist and taking allopathic treatment is the best way to go. It will take time, it wont happen overnight. But atleast you can be assured that you are getting the best care possible in the hands of experts.

Please consult a good endocrinologist in US.. They will surely help you.. Even I have PCOS and I have conceived.. Please dont lose hope. I am not sure of baba ramdev medicines but you can try his yoga which is very good.. You can try having more fruits and veggies and less carbohydrates(rice etc) and lead a active lifestyle(in case you are not doing it already). I am sure you will conceive soon..

Thanks for your advice.But do you know how much is the cost for infertility treatment.Actually I did all 5 cycle of clomid.But nothing happened.Then doc told me that i need IUI or IVF.she told me that both cases are costly and i need to do this in India.Here these two treatment are not covered in my insurance.

hi bindaas... if you need iui or ivf why dont you go ahead with it? since its costly in US... do it in india... and pls dont waste money in anything else... there's no point is doing that! Age is a real factor here... and we r running out of it so when it comes to infertility do the things you need to do without wasting time... a lil sacrifice from our side can give us a kid... so try to go to india for the treatment and do it...

Thanks for your advice.But I have a question how can i go to india since my husband project is here till december 2012.And you know without him how could be possible.do you have any idea that husband semen can be used for 3 IVF cycle.and in India how many embroy they transfers in one cylce?my hubby is sying that its not possible that I will come for each cycle.you can understand.so i am stuck?here you any insurance which covered IVF or any other idea?

Hi everyone!!!

I got married in Feb 2006 and started ttc from Jan 2010. My ttc history is as follows.
Miscarriage in April 2010, at 5 weeks.
Abortion in Dec 2010, at 18 weeks. Child had birth defects.
Chemical pregnancy in Jan 2012, at 5 weeks.
When this happened, my FE suggested me follicle monitoring and we came to know that i have PCOS. My follicles did not grow beyond 6 mm in April 2012. Then FE suggested me to take Clomid 50 mg (CD 3 to 7) and Metformin 500 mg. I took this in May 2012 and June 2012. The follicles grew really well beyond 18 mm. We tried to conceive naturally without going for assisted reproductive techniques. But failed to conceive. So, on 7 July, 2012, I went for an IUI with clomid. My follicles grew well, but the IUI still failed. This month again I have gone for IUI on Aug 4, 2012. I had ovulation pain in the morning.
The new thing is that I have got some homeopathic treatment going on since last week. The medicines prescribed are Pulsatilla 30, Sepia 200, Sabal Q, AMN 3X. I have lots of hope from this medicines. I am taking this because this month is going to be my last (fourth) round of clomid. As clomid can cause ovarian cancer and affect the lining of the uterus, I have decided not to take it further but rely on homeo. I have to see what happens with my IUI. Pray for me girls. This is very important for me as I am really dying to hold my baby in my arms. My journey has been really hard and painful.

Hey devika! Lots of baby dust to you!!
I too have pcos and my doc says that pcos is very very common these days. My age is in my favor. But m a lil overweight.
I too concieved through an iui but chemical pregnancy.
So i was thinking for a homeo treatment.
Found ur post can u plz tell me does homeo has positiv results??
And if anynody knows, plz tell me that does yoga really benifit, and do i need to continue with metforming to lose weight, as i was planning to go for homeo treatment?

Hi 6teenpearls,

I have heard and read that the homeopathic medicines I have mentioned above works wonders. But I have to wait about a month to know the results. Also, when u go for homeopathic treatment the doctor might prescribe a different medicines so just don't buy the medicines I mentioned. you can also take any allopathic medicine along with homeopathic medicines, my doctor said. So, i would say go for homeo as it's safe rather than the Clomid and others.
